The Park Tae-joon Museum, which officially opened on December 14, 2021, tells the story of POSCO, which laid the foundation for Korea's growth. Built next to the birthplace of the late Honorary Chairman Park Tae-joon, the museum commemorates the achievements of Cheongam, who left a significant mark on the modern and contemporary history of the Republic of Korea, and investigates and studies his philosophy and thoughts. The approximately 1,200 artifacts displayed and stored in the memorial hall are valuable materials that lay out history and culture from the Japanese colonial period to the present. What particularly attracts attention here is the memorial quote written by the late Lee O-young. "The reason we can now sleep on high pillows is because your blood and sweat poured into the iron factory, and the reason we can hold a child in our arms and make each person dream of tomorrow is because of you, who expanded the garden of knowledge by establishing a school.“ The Park Tae-joon Museum is renowned as a building that blends in to its surrounding landscape, using its surrounding nature as a reference point.
