Description
As an open space for local citizens, Yosan Literary Museum was built as a tribute to the literary works of Yosan Kim Jeonghan, a novelist who revealed the lives of those who are isolated, residing at the edge of Busan. In one of his novels, a protagonist said, “Live like a human being,” to those who committed wrongdoings by clinging to the powerful during the Japanese rule and Korean War. Kim Jeonghan, wearing a generous smile on his face at Yosan Literary Museum, was enthusiastic about improving people’s national consciousness during his life, which led him to be blacklisted as a writer instigating the public. The museum exhibits his handwritten scripts, handmade cards written in Hangeul (Korean alphabet), and his books.
