Description
Born and raised in Japan, Dr. U Jang-chun devoted himself to the improvement of vegetable seeds, which had been dependent on the country, for full domestic self-sufficiency after he was invited to Korea by the Korean government. To make amends for his father’s past faults, he dedicated himself to the project to provide quality homegrown crops, which his descendants today can benefit from their soil. Visit the memorial to pay homage to Dr. U Jang-chun.
