Samnak Eco Park is located on the large Samnak-dong riverside near the stem of the peacefully running Nakdonggang River. It reaches 4,722,000 m2, attracting people with its changing charms between seasons. In particular, the park that functions as the lungs of Busan provides an opportunity to observe diverse vegetation, including wetlands. You can directly experience each characteristic of this natural ecosystem from a cherry blossom colony and common reed complex, to a wildflower colony, making you realize how to preserve and manage our ecosystem. Spring is the season when you can fully enjoy the cherry blossoms in full glory in the Samnak Eco Park. The cherry blossoms form a beautiful pink blossom tunnel along with the Nakdong River Bank and gloriously end with spring breezes. As such, the Samnak Cherry Blossom Festival is definitely the destination to enjoy your spring. Canola flower always promises to come back when cherry blossoms are gone. Every year, rape blossoms dye the huge Nakdonggang River area. You’ll be amazed by the endless rape blossom bed once and with their beautiful color twice. The sorrow from cherry blossom ending will be healed with the vivacious rape blossoms. On a good windy day, you can go to the Samnak Eco Park to witness a great scenery of rape blossoms rippling like waves. In summer, lotus flowers peep out shyly upon the surface. People are attracted by the clear and fine appearance of lotus flowers that bloom in the mud with elegant lotus leaves supporting them. On the leaves fully covering the pond, lotus flowers bloom one by one to color the green lotus colony. At the end of your walk under the willow-line street with pleasant shade, you’ll reach the wildflower colony, where diverse and colorful summer flowers would welcome you. When fall breezes start blowing, you can go to the marsh eco park where silver grasses are waiting for you. You can rent a bike to pass through the small trail surrounded by the harmonious colonies of silver grasses and reeds. The trail continues to the bike road, and you can keep pedaling to reach the cosmos colony. You can add a photo in your best shot collection, with the colorful cosmos and its contrasting blue sky on the background. Samnak Auto Campground is also the must-try spot for camping by people who wish to enjoy romance while the autumn deepens. In winter, the park becomes a resting place for migratory birds that travel a long way, so tourists are careful not to disturb them. In this way, people have the opportunity to learn how to coexist with nature. The Samnak Eco Park is not from the urban area, but it provides different charms between seasons.
