Sungnyemun Gate is Korea’s National Treasure No. 1, and its unofficial name is Namdaemun Gate. Sungnyemun Gate is the largest castle gate stone structure with an arched entrance in the middle. There’s a column on top of a platform, raising the roof, distinguishing the upper stories and lower stories of the building. Passageways for traffic are located at the east and west ends of the gate. Different from the other gates, Sungnyemun Gate’s tablet has its name written vertically. On February 10, 2008, Sungnyemun was destroyed by fire. After a 5-year reconstruction work, the gate was re-opened to the public again on May 4, 2013.

Supjaengi Garden is a park associated with the history of Beopseongpo. "Supjaengi" means a fortress made of trees. Jjimjjilbang, a Korean-style sauna that combines a traditional bathhouse with a hot steam room, is often ranked high among the unique experiences in Korea chosen by foreigners. Taking a steam bath in a charcoal kiln discharges waste products from the skin through sweat and eliminates accumulated fatigue. Supsok Hanbang Land has several charcoal kilns for different temperatures. Using them in order from low to high-temperature rooms is good, but the highest-temperature room, “Kkottang,” has a risk of causing skinburn, so visitors are advised to wear socks and cotton gloves to enter the room. Another unique experience is to grill sweet potatoes or rice cakes on the brazier in front of the charcoal kiln.

Surakgyegok Valley is a valley located in the northern part of Daedunsan Provincial Park. Enveloped by forests and flowing streams, it offers opportunities for forest bathing, and its moderate temperatures even in the summer make it suitable for leisure activities. Throughout the valley, visitors can find waterfalls such as Surakpokpo Falls and Seonnyeopokpo Falls. A notable feature of this area is the steep iron staircase nestled between cliffs, leading from the valley to the summit of Daedunsan Mountain, which is a highlight of the area.

Sureungwon Garden is a place themed around the meeting between King Suro, the founder of Gaya, and Queen Heo, who was the princess of Ayuta Kingdom, known as India. The name Sureungwon Garden also contains the meaning of an elegant forest where King Suro and Queen Heo walked together. An ecological park measuring 39,600 m 2 has been created along a low ridge that connects the Tomb of King Suro, an important cultural heritage of the Gaya period; the Ancient Tombs in Daeseong-dong, the tombs of the Gaya kings; and the Bonghwang-dong Historic Site. It was created by representing the maritime kingdom of Gaya, imagining a pond of the garden where King Suro and Queen Heo used to walk, and planting prickly waterlilies and yellow floating hearts that are believed to have inhabited wetlands in the Gaya period. Trails along the cozy forest and pond make it easy to look around comfortably.
