Although the beach is currently closed and swimming is not allowed, visitors can enjoy views of Mokpo Bridge, one of the city’s landmarks, as well as the distinctive dragon head of Gohado Island. The maritime cable car running between Yudalsan Mountain and Gohado Island offers stunning vistas of the surrounding sea. In front of the recreation area, yachts gently floating on the water create a unique coastal scene, complemented by well-equipped facilities such as cafes and restaurants. Additionally, a well-maintained seaside path allows visitors to enjoy a pleasant walk along the shore without the discomfort of sand.
Yudalsan Mountain (유달산)
San 27-3 Jukgyo-dong, Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do
In the past, Yudalsan Mountain was known as Yeongdalsan Mountain, because it was a place where the soul passes. Located in the city's center, Yudalsan Mountain offers a view of Mokpo and Dadohae Sea, constantly inspiring its residents' artistic souls. There are many places to visit, including an orchid park and a sculpture park with 100 sculptures. Visitors can also enjoy a panoramic view by driving along the 2.7 km-long Yudalsan Scenic Road surrounding the mountain. In addition, Albizia Kalkara, a rare plant that will vanish forever from the face of the earth if it becomes extinct on Yudalsan mountain, inhabits this mountain. The view from the top of Yudalsan Mountain is spectacular, and the sight of big and small ships passing between them resembles an oriental painting. Dadohae's sunset and Mokpo Port's night view from the mountain will remain in the hearts of those who visit.

Seoraksan-ro, Sokcho-si, Gangwon-do
If you begin at Seorak-dong in Oeseorak, cross the Biryonggyo Bridge and pass by the Biryongpokpo Falls, you will reach Yukdampokpo Falls, which actually consist of six waterfalls and a pond. Despite the fact that only a small amount of water actually flows in these waterfalls today, what is interesting, is how they came into existence: a slow-flowing stream of water eroded the rocks, creating dips and puddles at various levels, which later became a series of cascading waterfalls. The splendid scenery around the waterfalls is always a pleasing sight to the eyes of visitors.

Yuksinsa Shrine is a revered site dedicated to honoring the Sayuksin. Established during the Joseon dynasty, it stands well-preserved to this day. Revered for its therapeutic properties against eye diseases, skin conditions, and arthritis, it was a popular destination for bathing and healing. The facility includes hot springs, open-air baths, changing rooms, and lounge areas. Accessible through a passage outdoors, the charcoal sauna features high-temperature, medium-temperature, and low-temperature rooms.
