Yullyangcheon Stream (율량천)

Yullyangcheon Stream runs through the heart of Cheongju and is a favorite spot for locals. With walking trails and bike paths along the water, it’s perfect for a leisurely outing. In the drama "Miss Night and Day (2024)," it appears as the place Lim Sun (played by Lee Jung-eun) goes when she feels lost.
Yulpo Beach (Solbat Beach) (율포해수욕장(솔밭해변))

Yulpo Beach is a scenic beach with a 60-meter-wide, 1.2-kilometer-stretch of silver sand between the sea and a forest of 100-year-old pine trees. Despite its location in a small fishing village, the region’s famous green tea and beautiful beaches have resulted in attracting many tourists to Yulpo Beach. The area has become a family summer resort, fully equipped with accommodation and leisure facilities.
Yurim Park (유림공원)
27 Eoeun-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon
Yurim Park is situated along the Gapcheon Riverside in Yuseong, Daejeon. The park is graced with blooming cherry blossoms in spring, and it hosts a lively chrysanthemum festival in autumn. The park features a small pond resembling the Korean peninsula, adorned with a traditional Korean water mill, lotuses, and a pavilion. The diverse amenities of the park, such as a lawn with an outdoor stage and a small library, make the visit more enjoyable.
Yuseong Foot Spa (유성 족욕체험장)
Bongmyeong-dong, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon
Yuseong Foot Spa located within Yuseong Hot Springs in Daejeon is a street foot spa site that uses 40°C natural hot spring water. Some 200 people can enjoy foot baths simultaneously at four-foot spas whose total area occupies 20,778 square meters. The foot spa is provided for free so that tourists who visit Daejeon can enjoy the hot springs with a light heart. Yuseong-gu Office pays excellent attention to the cleanliness and quality control of the water, which enables visitors to safely experience the foot bath. There is a separate area prepared for thoroughly washing your feet before entering the foot spa. Dipping your feet and legs in the hot water at the foot spa is great for blood circulation and alleviating stress and pain for people of all ages and genders but especially the elderly.
Yuseong Special Tourist Zone (유성 관광특구)

Daejeon is the center of state-of-the-art science and technology in Korea, where the nation’s top-tier venture enterprises, including Daedeok Special Research and Development Zone, run their businesses. As the representative city of science and technology for the nation, it is comparable to Silicon Valley in the United States. Yuseong Special Tourist Zone, which is located in Daejeon Metropolitan City, has won a nationwide reputation as a tourism and resort district rich in hot springs and tourism resources. Yuseong Special Tourist Zone includes a hot springs water source that yields high quality water in copious streams; therefore, there is no need to dilute the water or raise the temperature. With its healing effect proven, Yuseong Hot Springs has been the place for treatment and recuperation since the Three Kingdoms Period, and today, it is a popular travel destination for those seeking rest. The water is supplied to the hotels and other hot springs in the zone, and there are many restaurants serving a variety of dishes. There is also a facility where visitors can take a foot bath for free. Since Gyeryongsan National Park is near Yuseong-gu District, hikers take the opportunity to visit the nearby hot springs. Science museums and pavilions, including Expo Science Park, around Yuseong Special Tourist Zone are popular destinations for families with children. Yuseongoncheon Hot Springs (유성온천지구)
Oncheon-ro, Yuseong-gu, Daejeon
Yuseongoncheon Hot Springs is located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon. It is a venerable hot spring area known since the 7th century. The hot spring water temperature ranges from 27 to 56 degrees Celsius, and it contains various beneficial minerals with an alkaline pH ranging from 7.5 to 8.5, flowing from a depth of 200 meters underground. The streets are lined with retusa fringe trees, and in May, the Retusa Fringe Flower Festival takes place.
Zipper House (여행자의 집)
137-17 Donggyecheon-ro, Dong-gu, Gwangju
Zipper House is a multi-purpose cultural space that provides tourists with tourism information and convenient facilities, hosting various events and programs. The two-story building, adorned by a large red ribbon, features a gift shop selling souvenirs of Gwangju and Dong-gu, a campsite-like lounge and terrace, and a snack bar offering refreshments such as toast and coffee.
Zootopium (주토피움)
346-95 Gwangwangdanji-ro, Andong-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do
Zootopium is the largest animal & plant themed park in Gyeongsangbuk-do, home to over 200 species. The park provides the perfect environment for children to learn more about nature and living organisms. The park features both indoor and outdoor sections, as well as amenities such as a restaurant and play areas for children.
추암조각공원 (Chuam Sculpture Park)
17-1 Chotdaebawi-gil, Donghae-si, Gangwon-do
Located in Chuam-dong in Donghae, Gangwon State, Chuam Sculpture Park is connected to the nearby landmark attraction Chuam Chotdaebawi Rock. It has many sculpture artworks, an outdoor stage, and resting areas. Another noteworthy exhibition is the memorial wall built to pay respect to the allies who had fallen during the Korean War. The park's walking trail passes by landmarks that are known to be some of the best sunrise spots, such as Chuam Chotdaebawi Rock, Chuam Beach, and Isabu Lion Park.
