Wumok (우모크)

Wumok is a hanu (Korean beef) omakase restaurant that reinterprets Korean beef through fire and smoke, with its core philosophy centered on fire, wood, Korean beef, and smoke. The hanu used is a premium-grade hanu from Goryeong, Gyeongsangbuk-do. All dishes are prepared meticulously, balancing the texture and flavor. The interior is composed of dark wood and soft lighting, creating a quiet and focused dining environment.
Wunder Fuel (분더퓨얼)

Wunder Fuel is a cafe cafelocated in Jeongeup, Jeonbuk-do. It was renovated and redesigned from an old gas station, keeping the vintage charm while creating an eye-catching look with vivid colors. The cafe's signature menu items are Nutty Combination, a coffee latte beverage with an espresso shot, milk, and peanuts; Choco Butter Pudding, a chocolate croissant topped with a scoop of vanilla ice cream; and Pure Cream Latte, a delicious coffee topped with rich cream. The cafe also sells coffee beans and its unique merchandise like eco bags, tumblers, and mugs. The interior is designed to create an Instagrammable vibe, equipped with a photo zone.

Yadeure Bossam (야드레보쌈)

You can enjoy Bossam (Korean boiled pork with cabbage or lettuce wraps) and kimchi roll together. This restaurant's signature menu is kimchi cabbage wraps with pork. This Korean dishes restaurant is located in Mokpo-si, Jeollanam-do.

Hwaro Gui Restaurant in Hongcheon This is a popular charcoal grill restaurant in Hongcheon that is always full. Grilled Red Chili Paste Pork Belly is the representative menu. In addition, there are soy sauce Grilled Pork Belly, Buckwheat Noodles, Korean Beef Bibimbap, and Grilled Deodeok. The fire-flavored meat which is grilled over real hardwood charcoal and Green Onion Salad are the best combination. It is also fun to look around the well-tended garden while drinking Buckwheat Coffee served after meals.
Yangsanjip (양산집)

A long-standing dwaeji gukbap restaurant beloved by both vendors and visitors of the Kkangtong Market. The restaurant is small, so it’s often necessary to wait for a seat. Despite this, it remains popular among regulars, who are more than willing to wait. The popular menu item is the suyuk baekban (boiled pork slices set menu), which includes soup, rice, and separately served boiled pork.
Yeije Hanjeongsik (예이제 한정식)

Yeije Hanjeongsik offers hanjeongsik (Korean table d'hote) near Haeundae. It serves its Korean course menus, prepared with natural ingredients, in a charmingly luxurious and comfortable ambience. The dishes are plated to fine dining standards in both appearance and taste.

Yejeon (예전)

Yejeon is a western food restaurant and is considered one of the establishments that first created Wolmido Island’s café culture. Located in the middle of Wolmido's Munhwa Street (Culture Street), this Western-style redbrick building resembles that of a European atmosphere in Korea.
Yeolliji Garden (연리지가든)

The only place in Jeju serving native 'Heukdwaeji' (Black Pork), with pigs raised in-house, and about 30 portions are available each day. Grilled over charcoal, the meat has a deep flavor and firm, chewy texture, especially the thick cuts of pork belly and neck. Since only 30 portions are available each day, reservations are highly recommended.

Yeongi Sikdang (연기식당)

Known as the first restaurant in Gochang to serve grilled freshwater eel, the eel is cooked in the kitchen and served ready to eat, allowing for smoke-free dining experience. 'Jangeotang' (eel soup) is also available, along with a variety of side dishes including fried eel bones, 'Doenjangjjigae' (soybean paste jjigae), chive salad and freshly made acron jelly, making for a more filling, satisfying meal. Mudflat Eel is also available.

Yeongil Meat Restaurant (영일식육식당)

A restaurant that actors and staff loved This is a restaurant that actors and staff used to use while they were there for filming. The menu consists mainly of meat from various cuts, but it is fresh and of high quality, so there are many regulars. Among them, the most popular Stir-fried Pork is delicious when cooked over a fire and simmered in the soup. The side dishes provided when ordering are also neat and tasty.
Yeongwol Bakgane (영월 박가네)

Yeongwol Bakgane is a restaurant that prepares dishes using eosuri (East Asian hogweed) greens. The interior features a traditional Korean house-style design. Its main menu items include eosuri greens rice and gondeure (thistle) rice, each available as part of three set options: bulgogi, deodeok, and jeyuk (spicy stir-fried pork). As the restaurant may close early when ingredients are sold out, it is recommended to check its operating status in advance.
Yeonhwa Sikdang (연화식당)

A place to enjoy 'Yukjeon' (Pan-Fried Battered Beef) alongside a variety of Jeolla-style side dishes. Wrapping the 'yukjeon' with greens and aged kimchi offers a different way to enjoy it. The nutty aroma of perilla oil and tangy flavor of aged kimchi complent the dish well. Each side dish, reflecting the distinctive flavors of Jeolla cuisine pairs well with the 'yukjeon', makes for an easy, fulfilling meal.

Yeonjiri Bada Hoetjip Daege located near Uljin Port specializes in snow crab and assorted sliced raw fish. It offers a wide variety of fish, from ridged-eye flounder to sea bream and sea bass, and other seafood such as sea cucumber, pineapple, conch, and scallop. The signature menu of this restaurant is snow crab and snow crab with the sliced raw fish set. The set comes with steamed snow crab and assorted sliced raw fish. Another specialty is cold raw fish soup, which is a cold soup made with finely sliced fish, squid, and sauce. It is often eaten in summer and served in seaside seafood restaurants. Different regions have different takes on this dish, but all feature a sweet-and-sour flavor with plenty of sliced raw fish and vegetables. Keep in mind that prices of sliced raw fish tend to differ according to the season.
Yeonkkot Iyagi (연꽃이야기)

Yeonkkot Iyagi, which literally means “lotus story,” is a restaurant in Buyeo, Chungcheongnam-do that uses lotus and lotus leaves. It is a restaurant that offers a variety of menu items in addition to lotus leaf rice and lotus tea, which can be enjoyed together during the meal. Lotus leaf rice contains ingredients such as jujubes, ginkgo nuts, and pumpkin seeds, and the scent of lotus leaves permeates the freshly steamed glutinous rice, offering a fragrant meal. The restaurant also has an impressive children's menu called lotus pork cutlet. Another thing to take note of are the lotuses added in the side dishes.

Yeonpo Galbi (연포갈비)

This restaurant occupies a remodeled public bath and inn, preserving the original chimney from its bathhouse days. Known for offering Suwon wanggalbi at relatively affordable prices, it also serves galbitang (galbi soup) exclusively during lunchtime on weekdays. Due to limited availability, galbitang often sells out quickly.
Yeoyeo Sikdang (여여식당)

If you want to get the basics of jaecheop (Freshwater Marsh Clam) dishes in the Hadong-eup center area, head to Yeoyeo Sikdang. This restaurant serves a rich bowl of jaecheop-guk with a good selection of side dishes and a bowl of steamed rice.
