Located on a side street in Cheomseongdae in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, Soseoljae is a hanok stay combining traditional charm with modern facilities.The larger stand-alone guestroom has its own tea room, while 11 other rooms accomodate 2 or 3 people. All rooms are equipped with a toilet/bathroom and air conditioning/heating, and there is a small cafe at the hanok entrance. Soseoljae is close to Gyeongju Station and Gyeongju Express Bus Terminal and tourist attractions such as Cheomseongdae, Daereungwon, and Hwangnyongsaji are also nearby.
SOSO House (소소하우스)

Soso House is a private hanok stay located in Seochon, Jongno-gu, Seoul. Once you enter the gate, you are greeted by a small yard paved with stones and an alpine apple tree. There is a stool on one side of the yard where you can enjoy a cup of tea on a sunny day. In the daecheong maru (wooden-floored hall, there is a master bedroom on one side and a kitchen on the other, and the master bedroom has an attic. Cooking is allowed, and complimentary breakfast includes toast, salad, and coffee, as well as complimentary homemade fruit syrup and tea bags. Gyeongbokgung Palace, Seoul Museum of History, and Park No-Soo Art Museum are all within walking distance.
Soyang Hanok Stay (소양고택 한옥스테이)

Located in Wanju, Jeollabuk-do, Soyang House was renovated as a hanok stay in 2010 following the relocation of three 180-year-old hanok houses in danger of demolition. Seohyeondang is furnished with a red clay ondol room equipped with a bathroom and a space for a tea ceremony, and Gahuidang has a cypress bathtub in the bathroom. In Jewoldang, the daecheong (wooden-floored hall) offers an excellent view of the mountain in front of the hanok, while in Hyeondang, the numaru (balcony-like raised veranda) provides a panoramic view of the entire premises. Breakfast and welcome tea are provided as a complimentary service, but cooking is prohibited. Nearby tourist attractions include Songgwangsa Temple and Oseong Reservoir.
Starry Night Jeju (스테리나잇 제주)

Located in Aewol, Jeju Island, Starry Night offers sea views from all rooms overlooking Handam Beach. There are restaurants and convenience stores on the first floor, and there are rooms on the second and third floors. There are nine guest rooms divided into Basic rooms for two people, Classic rooms for two to four people, and Suite rooms for four to eight people. All rooms are equipped with a kitchen. The view of Jeju's blue sea through the window wall is the greatest charm of this place. Nearby tourist attractions include Gwakji Gwamul Beach and Aewol Cafe Street.

Hadong Healfort, situated halfway up the mountain in Akyang-myeon, Hadong, Gyeongsangnam-do, is located near Pyeongsa-ri, which is the setting of the novel Toji, and offers a panoramic view of the Seomjingang River. In the living room, the view from the window is as lovely as a framed picture. There are 13 guestrooms, divided into three types: double, twin, and ondol (underfloor heated), each with a living room, bedroom, bathroom, and private terrace. This is an ideal location for couples to relax and enjoy the view.

Stay Day Off is a hanok stay just off Jahamun-no - known locally as ‘Food Street’ - in Seochon Village to the west of Gyeongbokgung Palace in Seoul. It’s a 5-minute walk from Gyeongbokgung Station on Subway Line 3, so transport access is good. The main building comprises two bedrooms with queen-size bed, a living room and kitchen, and two bathrooms. The annex building is rather special: it has a bath and sauna behind a window wall with a fine view of the hanok garden. There’s a 10% discount for guests staying more than two nights during the week.

Stay Hwangryong is a tranquil hanok accommodation where the Hwangryonggang River flows in front. The hanok surrounded by a low stone wall is divided into two sections: Sarangchae and Anchae. The broad yard with flowering trees add more beauty to the landscape. The guest rooms of Stay Hwangryong include Hwangryong, good for six guests, Sarangchae 1 and 2 that are both good for two travelers, and a Maru that is the equivalent of a living room. The modern hanok retains the traditional beauty, while having added the convenience of modern facilities. Bright lightings on the ceiling and glass windows dressed in white curtains that replaced hanji give a more trendy look. Individual heating system per room, WiFi, and air conditioning are provided. The kitchen is equipped with a rice cooker, induction cooktop, and other kitchenware for those who wish to cook during the stay. Each room has a barbecue grill for guests to enjoy. The yard with plentiful sunlight is good for small gatherings, such as family gatherings and birthday parties.

Suaedang (안동 수애당)

Suaedang House in Andong, Gyeongsangbuk-do, was built in 1939 by independence activist Soo Ae Yu Jin-geol, and is a Gyeongsangbuk-do cultural asset. The hipped-and-gabled pavilion and the ㄱ-shaped gobangchae (female servants’ quarters) face each other across the courtyard, and the house has a 10-metre lofty gate. Suaedang was moved to its current location in 1987 due to the construction of the Imha Dam. The room and Daecheongmaru are red clay-walled and natural painted. The view of the lake from Suaecang is very beautiful.
Sukjonggwan of the Royal Room (왕의지밀 숙종관)

Wangui Jimil Sukjonggwan (‘Royal Room of King Sukjong’) in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, is hotel combining hanok style with modern facilities - one of a group of hotels named after Joseon kings, which are popular with family travelers. There are 6 guestrooms, most with exposed beams and traditional furniture; and the Grade 2 Gold and Silver rooms, big enough for six people, are especially popular with family travelers. Some rooms have two beds and a jacuzzi. Additional hotel facilities include a hanok cafe, a restaurant, and a convention center. Major tourist attractions such as Namgosa Temple and Jeonju Hanok Village are 10 minutes away by car.
Suncheonbay house of sea castle (순천만 해룡성고택)

Suncheon Bay Haeryongseong Old House is the head house of the Suncheon Mun clan, whose members - descendents of the Joseon courtier Mun Wi-se - have lived here for 300 years. Visitors to the house can gather wild water parsley, barbecue pork belly, and sample yellowtail duck for breakfast. Two of the buildings - Seungwon and Sabiwon - are self-catering, have living rooms, ktichens and bathrooms, and are very popular with families.
