Hanbando Electric Kart Experience Center (한반도 전기카트 체험장)

Hanbando Electric Kart Experience Center is Korea's first outdoor electric go-kart experience center using renewable energy. It is located in a pine forest in Sincheon-ri, Hanbando-myeon. All facilities and tracks, including helmets and karts, are kept clean and safe, allowing anyone to enjoy driving once they follow simple operation methods and precautions. Stretched pine trees lining up next to the winding track double the speed and coolness. Solar power, a renewable energy source, was installed in the experience center to preserve the pristine wetlands and pine forests. Hangdo Breakwater (항도방파제)

Hangdo Breakwater runs along the pebble beach in Hangdo Village, Mijo-myeon, Namhae. In "Castaway Diva (2023)," it appears as Chunsamdo Breakwater. Anglers come here year-round for night fishing, and it’s also popular among car campers. With open views and a cool sea breeze, it’s a nice place for a stroll, and at sunset the sky glows red, making for a striking scene.
Hantangang Bungee Jump Korea Leisure (한탄강번지점프(코리아레저))

Taebongdaegyo Bridge, towering over the Hantangang River, serves as the starting point for Ice Trekking programs in winter. During the summer, it transforms into a bungee jumping site. The platform, elevated 52 meters above sea level, offers a truly exhilarating drop. This site also provides a spectacular view of the Hantangang River’s beautiful valleys.
Hantangang River Jusangjeolli-gil (철원 한탄강 주상절리길(잔도))

This 3.6-km trail in the Hantangang River UNESCO Global Geopark is filled with awe-inspiring cliffs and various size rocks. Walking alongside the cliff, the world unfolds thrillingly beneath your feet. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes one way, and on weekends, shuttle buses run between the two entrances, so there's no need to return to the starting point. As you traverse this exhilarating path, you might imagine the "Hangout with Yoo" team walking with their flags as if participating in a team-building exercise.
Hantangang Tourist Area Auto Campground (한탄강관광지 오토캠핑장)

The Hantangang Tourist Area Auto Campground stands as Korea's first camping facility that aligns with international standards, offering caravans, cabin houses, and an auto campground. The site is well-equipped with amenities like a convenience store, sink and table rooms, shower facilities, recycling areas, and play areas for children. Visitors can relish the stunning vistas of the Hantangang River and engage in a range of recreational activities, including ATV riding, kayaking, and rafting.
Hanyangdoseong Seoul City Wall Stamp Tour (서울 한양도성 순성길)

Hanyangdoseong Seoul City Wall is a 18.7 km-long trail that encircles the old capital city of Hanyang, covering Bugaksan, Inwangsan, Naksan, and Namsan Mountains. The urban trekking course provides the opportunity to see Seoul's history, culture, and nature all at once, including four large gates, four small gates, and 169 cultural heritages. To enjoy the trail even further, take part in the stamp tour. Travelers who complete the full trail, collecting stamps and taking pictures at the designated locations will recieve a completion certificate.
High 1 Country Club (하이원 컨트리클럽)

High 1 Country Club is located 1,100 meter above sea level, making it the highest golf course in Korea. Due to the lower air pressure, golfers may enjoy longer and farther-reaching golf drives. In addition, the temperature never goes over 25 degrees Celsius even in the middle of summer, offering a cool and pleasant condition for summer golfers. Taking nature conservation into account, most of the area was formed using recycled rocks and debris from an abandoned mine, preventing acidic wastewater leaking from abandoned mines or dumps from contaminating the environment with heavy metals. At the same time, plants and wildflowers are planted around the surrounding areas to promote sustainable ecological stability. Golfers who want to stay for more than just a day can experience warm hospitality with a lovely ambiance at the High 1 Country Club which has 197 rooms in total and also offers a great view of the 18-hole golf course.
High1 Haneulgil Trekking (하이원 하늘길 트레킹)

High1 Haneulgil Trekking trails were created using the Baegunsan Mountain hiking trail and roads used by coal miners in the past. The trekking trails consist of Mureungdowongil, Untangodogil, and Gowonsupgil trails. The trails are easy enough even for children to hike up. Once visitors reach the top, they can get down conveniently on the Sky1340 mountain gondola.
High1 Ski Resort (하이원리조트 스키장)

High1 Ski Resort is equipped with lifts and ski slopes for beginners as well as intermediate and advanced skiers, providing an enjoyable environment for the whole family. It is also designed to be the most environmental-friendly ski resort in the nation. Preserving the mountain while making the slopes, in spring various wild edible greens are seen and in summer many wild flowers bloom, making the resort an eco-travel attraction all year round. The revolving restaurant at the mountain top, 1,340 meters above sea level, provides an amazing view of the surrounding area with one full rotation every hour.
Highkey Water Leisure (하이키수상레저)

Highkey Water Leisure is located by the Namhangang River in Yeoju, Gyeonggi-do, allowing convenient access from Seoul. In addition to convenient water sports facilities, Highkey Water leisues offers a variety of activities such as speedboating, water skiing, wakeboarding, and other fun rides. The calm waters of the Namhangang River and trained instructors provide the ideal environment for beginners to learn wakeboarding and water skiing.
Hoengseong Luge (횡성루지체험장)

The Hoengseong Luge offers visitors the chance to ride a luge, descending a sloped course powered by gravity while controlling speed and direction with a handle and brakes. The facility was developed by repurposing a section of the old Gwandong Road, which once connected Seoul and Gangneung during the Joseon Dynasty before its closure following the construction of a new tunnel along what is now National Highway 42. Rather than undergoing large-scale development, the site has been carefully maintained to preserve the original road and surrounding natural environment, and is operated directly by the local government. The course spans the section from Jeonjae in Hoengseong to Owon-ri in Ucheon-myeon, forming a single 2.4-kilometer track that runs through forested terrain. Unlike artificially designed luge tracks, the course follows an actual roadway, offering a riding experience that closely resembles real driving.
Hoengseonghosugil Trail (횡성호수길)

With the completion of the Hoengseong Dam in 2000, an artificial lake called Hoengseong Lake was created, and a total of 31.5 kilometers of six courses were created around the lake. Hoengseonghosugil Trail is divided into themes, Course 1 Hoengseong Dam Road (Hoengseongdae-Daegwandae-ri 3 km, about 1 hour), Course 2 Neungseon-gil (Daegwandae-ri-Hoengseong Hot Spring 4 km, about 2 hours), Course 3 Healing Road (Hoengseong Hot Spring-Hwajeon-ri 1.5 km, about 1 hour), Course 4 Contemplative Path (Hwajeon-ri - Manghyangui Hill 7 km, about 2 hours 30 minutes), Course 5 Family Road (Manghyang's Garden 9 km, about 3 hours) and Course 6, Hoesanggil (Manghyang's Garden - Hoengseong Dam, 7 km, about 2 hours and 30 minutes). Among them, the 5-section Family Road (9 km) is a great course to enjoy Hoengseong Lake up close fully and is the only course that returns to the starting point. Course A, which starts and returns from the Garden of Paradise, has three observatories with an expansive view of the shadows reflected on the picturesque lake and cute sculptures everywhere. Course B (4.5 km) continues with a trail full of forests. Hoengseong Lake Shelter Observatory has a panoramic view of the lake and a colony of aspen trees. Section 5 of Hoengseonghosu-gil was selected as an “open tourist destination” by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in 2020, and barrier-free circulation was completed for some sections (parking lot-family rest area).
Homibando Peninsula Coastal Trail (호미반도 해안둘레길)

The Homibando Peninsula Coastal Trail is a picturesque trekking route that spans a remarkable 58 kilometers of Pohang's coastline, stretching from Donghae-myeon to Janggi-myeon via Guryongpo-eup and Homigot Cape. This easternmost section of the Korean Peninsula offers an opportunity to marvel at rugged cliffs and savor the soothing sounds of crashing waves as you stroll along the shoreline. The trail is divided into four distinct courses, with the third course, known as Guryongso-gil, being the lengthiest, taking approximately two hours to complete. It begins at Janggun Rock, winding its way through the Golden Rain Tree and Black Jetbead colonies, ultimately concluding at Guryongso. On the other hand, the fourth course, Homi-gil, is the shortest and starts at Eagle Rock, concluding at the picturesque Homigot Sunrise Square.
Hongcheon Leisure Yoon Rafting ATV Survival (홍천레저윤 래프팅 ATV 서바이벌)

Hongcheon Leisure Yoon Rafting ATV Survival is located right in front of the rafting arrival point on the Hongcheon River. The facility offers separate hot-water shower rooms for men and women, allowing visitors to freshen up comfortably after activities. A continuous pickup service is also available, using large buses, vans, trucks, and ATVs for convenient transportation. Among the ATV courses, there is also a shallow-water route that offers a safe and enjoyable experience for beginners. Visitors can also try buggy cars (UTVs), an activity that is not easily found elsewhere in Korea.
Hwajinpo Lake (화진포)

Hwajinpo Lake is one of the most famous lagoons in Korea. It is connected to the East Sea and blessed with natural light, with dense pine forests spreading like folding screens around the vast lake, which covers an area of 238ha. The beach is shallow, clear, and has a great view of the Geumgudo Island, making it popular among tourists. In winter, the area also serves as a refuge for migratory birds, including Natural Monuments like swans. Indeed, the view of the swans dancing over the lake brings to mind Tchaikovsky’s masterpiece. The reason why migratory birds head to Hwajinpo Lake is because of its clean water and the abundant food within its reed beds. The surrounding areas are home to the Castle of Hwajinpo (Villa of Kim Il-sung), Villa of Syngman Rhee, and Hwajinpo Maritime Museum, home to nearly 40,000 exhibits of 1,500 rare shellfish, coral, fish species and fossils, along with historic sites like dolmens. The area is a vital habitat to many aquatic creatures like carp, grey mullet, leather carp, and snakehead.
Hwarang Institute (화랑교육원)

Hwarang Institute is Korea's first character education organization. It aims to inherit the spirit of the Silla dynasty's Hwarang, a youth warrior group, and to cultivate good character and personality in children. Its facilities include Hwarang Hall, a playground, an auditorium, and a Safety Education Hall. Notably, the Safety Education Hall features an earthquake experience room, a life-saving room, and a 4D video room, where children can receive effective preventive safety education on health, crime, and natural disasters. Nearby tourist attractions include the Gyeongju National Museum, the Tomb of King Jeonggang, Gyeongju Millennium Forest Garden, and the Tomb of King Gyeongae.
