Simhangsan Mountain, located adjacent to Chungjuho Lake, is affectionately known as Jongdaengi Mountain due to the presence of a shrine. The Jongdaengi Trail, a scenic walking path along Simhangsan Mountain, offers breathtaking views of Chungjuho Lake. Jongmyo Shrine was the primary place of worship for kings and their queens throughout the Joseon dynasty. The shrine was built at the same time as Gyeongbokgung Palace, under the orders of King Taejo, the first king of the Joseon dynasty. The shrine is the site of the royal memorial service, called Jongmyo Jaerye, a national event that has been passed down since the Three Kingdoms period. During the Joseon dynasty, the ritual was held on the first month of a seasonal change and the twelfth month of the lunar year.

Jongno Cheonggye Special Tourist Zone stretches from Seorin-dong to Changsin-dong between Cheonggyecheon Stream and Jong-ro. It includes Youth Street, Gwangjang Market, Sewoon Electronics Department Store, lighting stores, pharmacy & medical device stores, badge stores, Stamp Street, Stationery · Toy Market, Aquarium Street, Shoes Market, and other markets totalling to approximately 14,000 shops. Nearby attractions include modern high-story buildings as well as Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung, and Unhyeongung Palaces, Jongmyo Shrine, and Insa-dong, merging traditions, modernism, culture, and markets alike. Thought to be at the heart of Seoul, Cheonggyecheon Stream is located in the dense cultural area of Seoul where various press networks, organizations, bookstores and other major corporations are situated. Walking along Cheonggyecheon Stream is a famous activity for tourists. Also, the area is the venue for the Seoul Lantern Festival every winter. Keeping its traditional scene including narrow alleys, old-fashioned hanok buildings and various stores still fully intact, the tourist zone has enough fun places for sightseeing as well as tasty restaurants in every corner for a more enjoyable visit.

Joryeongsan Recreational Forest is located in Joryeongsan Mountain, a part of Sobaeksanmaek Mountain Range. Joryeongsan Mountain is home to groves of old pine and oak trees. Hiking trails weave throughout the forests. Amenities include accommodations, forest park, pavilion, outdoor stage, playground, and remains of a fortress. The water park is open to the public between July and August. The Baekdudaegan Ecological Education Center has educational exhibits on forest ecologies and offers woodcraft experiences.

It is one of the best places to watch the sunrise on the East Coast. Located next to Jukdojeong Pavilion, the Jukdo Observatory offers a panoramic view of Jukdo Island. The walking path around the island is a great place for visitors to take a leisurely stroll along the sea while also enjoying the lush green forest.

Jukdosan Observatory is located along the Yeongdeok Blue Road Course B. The building consists of seven floors in total with a lighthouse on the 7 th floor. Located in Gijang-gun, Busan, Jukseong Church is a drama set built for the SBS drama "Dream (2009)." The drama aired a long time ago and is forgotten, but this well-made space has become a must-see for travelers visiting Gijang. The inside of the cathedral is operated as a gallery, and visitors can encounter a pleasant surprise when there is an ongoing exhibition. Perhaps thanks to its location in a small fishing village, it retains a unique atmosphere. The seaside landscape is like a painting from the Middle Ages. The white foam breaking over the rocks contrasts with the red roof of the church and catches the attention of those who visit this place at a glance. The place where most people wait in line at Jukseong Church is a photo spot decorated with a picture frame structure. The blue sea and sky in the frame create a beautiful background.

Jukseoru Pavilion, estimated to have been built around 1266, is one of the eight major attractions of Gwandong District in middle eastern Korea collectively known as Gwandong Palgyeong (eight famous sites). Sitting on the edge of a cliff overlooking Osipcheon Stream, the pavilion incorporates the rocks on the cliff as cornerstones, with a five-girder paljak (ancient-style roof). Then, there are 26 signboards hanging from the rafters of the pavilion. The signboards contain inscriptions of famous ancient scholars such as 'Jeilgyeongjeong' ('The best riverside pavilion'; 1662) by Heo Mok, 'Jukseoru' and 'Gwandong Jeilru' ('The best pavilion in Gwandong'; 1711) by Yi Seong-jo, and 'Haeseon Yuhui Jiso' ('The place that marine gods enjoy'; 1837) by Yi Gyu-heon. Others who have left their mark include King Sukjong (1674-1720), King Jeongjo (1776-1800) and Yulgok YiYi (1536-1584). Evidently, Jukseoru Pavilion has served as an inspiration since its establishment, and continues to inspire visitors today through the stunning view of its surrounding nature.
