Kangbuk Samsung Hospital (강북삼성병원)

KANGKANGEE Arts Village (깡깡이 예술마을)

In the late 19th century, Korea's first modern shipyard was established, and there are still more than a dozen repair shipyards and about 200 industrial companies in the area. It is said that the name of the village was born from the sound of a hammer hitting the surface of a rusty boat. In "My Name," it appeared as Inchang-si, the main stage of gangsters, and the unique atmosphere harmonized well with the content, adding to the dramatic fun. There are also many cute cafes to explore, and it is fun to experience a tour program that runs three times a day on weekends.

Kansong House (간송옛집)
149-18 Sirubong-ro, Dobong-gu, Seoul
The 100-year-old traditional hanok Kansong House sits by the burial mound of Kansong Jeon Hyeong-pil (1906-1962), who played a significant role in preserving the cultural heritages of Korea during the Japanese colonial period. This house was orginally built by Kansong's adoptive father Jeon Myeong-gi (1870-1919) to us as a storage facilities for harvested agriculture from the northern Gyeonggi-do and Hwanghae. After his father's death, Kansong used the house as a ritual house for his father and often stayed here. Some damages were done to the house during the Korean War, and partial repair was made after his death.
Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital (계명대학교 동산병원)

Established in 1899 as Daegu's first Western medical institution, Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital is a cutting-edge, eco-friendly facility offering 37 specialties. It features top centers for cancer, robotic surgery, cardiocerebrovascular diseases, and organ transplants. In 2023, it won the Medical Korea Award for cancer care. The International Healthcare Center has been providing personalized services to international patients since 1967.
Kensington Resort Seorak Beach (켄싱턴리조트 설악비치)

Kensington Resort Seorak Beach is surrounded by mountains and ocean as well as creeks and fields. Due to its location by the beach, visitors can enjoy the view of the ocean as well as Seoraksan Mountain in the backdrop. Visitors can play in the sand and the water at the beach in front of the resort. The rooms provide cozy yet modern feel with various concepts to meet all the needs. Subsidiary facilities include banquet hall, education classroom, seawater sauna, singing room, nightclub, local specialty store, arcade and more.
Keumkuwon Sculpture Park (금구원야외조각미술관)
31, Jogakgongwon-gil, Buan-gun, Jeonbuk-do
Keumkuwon Sculpture Park was founded in 1966 by Kim O-seong, and was the first park of its kind in Korea. The park was registered as Private Museum No. 277 by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism in 2003. Many of the roughly 100 sculptures are realistic in style and are related to one another, creating a feeling of watching a play unfold before one's eyes. Main pieces include "Farmer’s Hands," "Thoughts about the Limited and the Unlimited," and "The Sky in the West." The sculptures are made of marble or granite and vary in size, with some measuring 450 centimeters. Indigenous trees and bushes of the Byeonsanbando Peninsula can be found throughout the park, giving visitors a chance to enjoy both the sculptures and the backcountry charm. The park also features the Keumkuwon Astronomical Observatory, opened in 1991. Visitors can combine their trip to the park with a visit to nearby tourist sites like Gyeokpohang Harbor, Chaeseokgang Cliff, Suseongdang Shrine, and Jeokbyeokgang Cliff.
Keunggeut Lighthouse (큰끝등대)
Pyeongsa-ri, Dolsan-eup, Yeosu, Jeollnam-do
Keunggeut Lighthouse is a beautiful hidden gem located at the eastern tip of Dolsando Island in Yeosu. The way to get there is difficult, and it is not well-known because it is hidden in the forest. There is no separate parking lot, so visitors usually park on the shoulder of the road and pass through a small forest path that runs between the roads. The path is not rugged, but it is recommended to wear comfortable shoes. Following the pine tree path, one will encounter the endless horizon and the sound of clear blue waves at the edge of the forest, along with a white lighthouse that blends well with the scenery. The pretty tidal rocks and the emerald beach look like a painting, attracting locals and tourists in Yeosu to capture this view. The sight of the waves crashing against the bizarre rocks and cliffs next to the lighthouse is also beautiful. However, there are no safety devices or fences, so caution is advised. * Pets are allowed.

Key Observatory (열쇠전망대)

Called to play the role of an important key for unification, Key Observatory was established on April 11, 1998 to commemorate the sorrow of homesickness and provide security education in the area. Military in the area can also keep watch over the north from this location. Visitors can see the DMZ fences and the Guard Point as well as exhibition hall where war items can be found.

KidZania Seoul (키자니아 서울)

KidZania is a theme park organized around the idea of vocational experience for children. It is home to a variety of facilities where one can experience different career paths, all located on a scale model of a city. Kim Kwangseok-gil Street (김광석 길 (김광석다시그리기길))

Kim Kwangseok-gil Street is a mural street near Bangcheon Market in the neighborhood where musician Kim Kwang-seok used to live prior to his passing. The 350 meter-long wall has statues and murals depicting his life and music. Every autumn, the area of Bangcheon Market and Dongseongno hosts a “Kim Kwang-seok Singing Contest” in his memory. ◎ Travel information to meet Hallyu’s charm - TV series"Hyde Jekyll, Me" The place where Robin and Ha-na go on a last date together is Kim Kwangseok-gil Street, a series of alleyways next to Bangcheon Market adorned with murals dedicated to the legendary singer Kim Kwang-Seok. It also features many famous cafés and restaurants, so it is a popular date spot.

Kim Myeong-gwan's House (정읍 김명관 고택)
72-10 Gongdong-gil, Sanoe-myeon, Jeongeup-si, Jeonbuk-do
A typical example of an aristocrat's house, this residence was built in the 8th year of King Jeongjo's reign in the Joseon dynasty by Kim Myeong-gwan, the 6th generation descendent of Kim Dong-su. Kim Myeong-gwan carefully considered the principles of geomancy when choosing the location of the house, with Cheonghasan Mountain to the back and Dongjingang River to the front, and it took ten years to complete the house. Upon entering the main gate, the house reveals a balanced symmetry with the daecheongmaru (wooden floor hall) at the center. Every component of the house was placed and designed to create a balance with the surroundings and efficient movement within the premises. Because the house contains most of its original form and displays a beautiful harmony with the natural surroundings, it is regarded as valuable research material. Although there may be limitations, viewing is generally allowed.

Kim Satgat Historic Site (난고 김삿갓 유적지)

Nango Kim Satgat (1807-1863) was a prominent literary figure who traveled extensively across the Korean Peninsula, leaving behind a rich legacy of literary works. His sobriquet “Satgat” originated from his habitual wearing of a “satgat” (a traditional Korean hat) and his preference for introducing himself by this name. The historic site dedicated to him includes several key features: the house where he once lived, his tomb, a literary museum that showcases his life and works, and a sculpture of the poet.

King Sejong Statue (세종대왕 동상)

King Sejong Statue can be found at Seoul’s Gwanghawmun Square. The statue commemorates King Sejong the Great (1397-1450, reign 1418-1450), the fourth king of Joseon (1392-1897). He is thought to be the greatest king in Korean history, for he is credited with great developments in science and technology, expansion of Joseon’s territory, and the creation of the Korean script, [Hangeul]. King Sejong’s likeness can be found on the 10,000 won bill as well.

Kkotgedari Ocean Bridge (꽃게다리)

Inspired by the blue crab, the Kkotgedari Ocean Bridge links Taean's Deureuni Port with Anmyeondo Island's Baeksajang Port. The bridge is decorated with sculptures of blue crab and shrimp,highlighting the region's most significant seafood. It provides spectacular views of the Yellow Sea and sunsets. At night, the bridge is lit up with stunning lights. Nearby, a market offers the opportunity to browse, buy, and taste seafood freshly caught from the Yellow Sea.
