Byeonsan Natural Recreation Forest (변산자연휴양림)

Byeonsan Natural Recreation Forest is a coastal natural recreation forest located within the Byeonsanbando National Park. Offering views of both mountains and sea, it boasts a distinctive charm and provides forest tour, experiential program, and accommodation facilities. Visitors can engage in simple crafts using pine cones and pine trees, as well as forest strolling programs such as walking through the pine forest. Nearby attractions include Chaeseokgang Cliff in Gyeokpo and Byeonsan Beach.
Byeonsan Oncheon Sanjang (변산온천산장)

Byeonsanbando, surrounded by the sea on three sides, is home to a lot of food using shellfish. Among them, it is the original house that first developed clam porridge, which is considered the most distinctive menu. If you add glasswort salt and sesame seeds to the unique savory taste of clams that harmonize with any other ingredients, it becomes a savory porridge that fills our stomachs. Sweet and sour seasoned Raw Clam Salad and Clam Vegetable Pancake are also prepared.
Byeonsanbando National Park (변산반도국립공원)

Designated as a national park in 1988, Byeonsanbando National Park is the only national park in the country that consists of both the ocean and the mountains. The park is divided into two large sections: the shore area, called Outer Byeonsan, and an inland area called Inner Byeonsan. It has mountain peaks made up of unique rock formation, such as Uisanbong Peak (508 meters), Chaeseokgang Cliff, and Jeokbyeokgang Cliffs. Nearby Gyeokpo Port and Naesosa Temple are all worth exploring, enriching the experience of the area. It's also well known for having the latest sunset in the country with stunning panoramic views.

Byukchoji Gardens (벽초지수목원)

Byulgung (별궁)

Byulgung is a large hanok pension complex located in Chungcheongnam-do, northeast of Taean, whose long row of tiled roofs resemble a royal palace or a location used to film Korean dramas. There are 12 guest rooms, ranging from two-person rooms to group rooms. Most of them are ondol (underfloor heated) types, but some are bedroom types. There are also some rooms with a two-story structure or terrace. Bathrooms and kitchens are located indoors, making them convenient for guests. Additional facilities include an outdoor swimming pool, outdoor barbecue area, and a Modamjeong (pavilion), and you may also enjoy mudflat activities at the private beach located just in front of the pension.
