Dodong Coastal Trail leads to Jeodong Coastal Trail, and together, they form Haengnam Coastal Trail. Dodong Coastal Trail corresponds to section 1 of Ulleung Haedam-gil (2.8km) and is also known as the Coastal Trail 34 course. There is a walking trail with a rainbow bridge and LED streetlights with the geopark logo, making it an attractive geological site among tourists. Various geologic structures formed by early volcanic activity on Ulleungdo Island can be observed on the Dodong Coastal Trail. There is a gradual decrease in the age of rock formations as you go from Dodong Port to Dodong Lighthouse. Basaltic lava flows, Clastic sedimentary rocks (rocks made up of pieces transported by landslides), ignimbrite (a volcanic rock formed by the consolidation of material deposited by pyroclastic flows), and trachyte (an extrusive igneous rock) can be found from bottom to top.

The spring at Dodong Mineral Spring Park contains minerals known as effective treatments for anemia, digestive disorders, and skin ailments. Legend says the armor of a general who died in war was buried here and the metal infused water is what flows in this spring. Rice cooked with this spring water turns light blue.

Dodongseowon Confucian Academy was first established by Confucian scholars in 1568 at the eastern base of Biseulsan Mountain, but was burnt down during the Imjin War (1592-1598). In 1605, the school was reconstructed on its current site and was renamed Borodongseowon. In 1607, the name was changed to Dongdoseowon. "Dongdo" means that the teachings ("do") of Confucianism come from the East ( dong in Korean). Dodongseowon is one of the 47 major Confucian academies that was not affected by Heungseon Daewongun's order to eliminate Confucian academies.

Dodu-dong Rainbow Coastal Road is a unique road located 10 minutes away by car from the airport. Locals had been voicing their opinions on adding colors to the protective walls installed along the coastal road in order to prevent cars from veering off the road and as a result, the walls came to wear rainbow colors. The road became famous among tourists and became known as the Dodu-dong Rainbow Coastal Road. It is fun to check out the various sculptures in the area including that of a haenyeo (female divers). Nearby Dodubong Peak is within a walking distance, and leads to the Olle Trail course, one of the hidden gems of Jeju Island. The slope is gradual so it is not a difficult course.

Doejae Catholic Church, built in 1895, is the second Catholic church to be completed after Yakhyeon Catholic Church in Seoul and is known as the first Hanok Catholic church. The building was completely destroyed during the Korean War and was restored in 2008. The name 'Doejae' refers to a pass located in Seungchi-ri, Hwasa-myeon, Wanju-gun. Doejae Catholic Church is unique in that it has an entrance for each toenmaru. The left side is for men and the right side is for women. In addition, the gates of children, middle-aged, and elderly are classified according to the funeral will.

Dogapsa Temple, built during the late Silla period, has a long history and various national treasures. Approximately 100 meters from Iljumun Gate of Dogapsa Temple is Haetalmun Gate (gate of emancipation), built in 1473 with a unique design that is also designated as a National Treasure. Near the gate is Treasure No. 1134, Wooden Child Manjusri and Samantabhadra of Dogapsa Temple. A five-story stone pagoda as well as Stone Seated Buddha (a Treasure) can also be seen at the temple. A large amount of the temple was burnt down during various wars, but the remaining stones show how large the temple once was.

This small beach is located about 20 minutes away from Pohang city center, near Pohang Gyeongju Airport. Dojjaebi is a dialect for dokkaebi, a mythical goblin in Korean folklore. Dojjaebigol Haerang Observatory, a 85-meter pedestian overpass, is designed to take the shape of a club known to be used dokkaebi. The word "haerang" means "the space where the sun, the sea, and you are all together." The entrance to the obsertory overpass is designed to give a sense as if one is warping into the realm of dokkaebi. The bridge floor is built using glass and mesh so that visitors can see the ocean water under their feet.

Visitors can enjoy beautiful views and exciting activities such as 59-meter-high glass-bottom Sky Walk, floating in air with Sky Cycle, and 30-meter-long Giant Slide.

Located 87.4 kilometers away from Ulleungdo Island, Dokdo is an island on the east coast of Korea. Dokdo comprises two major islands called Dongdo (East Island), located at a latitude of 37°14'N and a longitude of 131°52'E, and Seodo (West Island), located at a latitude of 37°14'N and a longitude of 131°51'E. Designated as a Natural Monument, Dokdo is a protected natural reserve that serves as a home to several rare and endangered bird species. Civilian access to Dokdo was prohibited in accordance with Article 33 of Cultural Heritage Protection Act until March 24, 2005, when adjustments were made with the law, granting the public access to Dongdo and Seodo under certain conditions. Since then, continued adjustments have been made, such as abolishing the number restriction of daily visitors, allowing more visitors to appreciate the beauty of Dokdo. Dongdo, located on the southeastern coast, has a circumference of 2.8 kilometers and a surface area of 73,297 ㎡ with its highest peak reaching 98.6 meters. It also has a lighthouse and a wharf along with other marine and fishery facilities. As for Seodo, located on the northwestern coast, it has a circumference of 2.6 kilometers and a surface area of 88,740 ㎡ with the highest peak reaching 168.5 meters. Seodo houses living quarters of Dokdo's residents, where fishers seek shelter in case of an emergency. Several uniquely shaped rock formations are scattered surrounding the two major islands, such as Gajaebawi Rock, Chotdaebawi Rock, and Eolgulbawi Rock to name a few. The total surface area of all the rocks combined is 25,517 ㎡.

Dokdo Museum was built in 1995 in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Independence of Korea and opened to the public in 1997. It exhibits the collection of Lee Jong-hak, the first director of the museum, as well as donations by groups associated with Dokdo. The first floor has three exhibition halls and a Main Hall, while the second floor has one exhibition hall, natural ecosystem video room, lobby with a view of Dokdo, and more.

The Dokdo Observatory Cable Car, from which one can get a bird's eye view of Ulleungdo Island, is a must-see tourist attraction. Located inside the Dodong Yaksu Park, the cable car takes visitors up to Manghyangbong Peak and back. When the sky is really clear (about 50 days a year), passengers can see as far as Dokdo that is located 92 kilometers away. This is also the first place to view the rising sun in Ulleungdo Island.
