Earthen Fortification in Jeongbuk-dong (청주 정북동 토성)

The Earthen Fortification in Jeongbuk-dong was built around the third century BC on a flat land next to the Mihogang River. Its original square shape, with a perimeter of 650 meters, remains well-preserved, featuring gate remnants on the east, west, south, and north sides. The south and north gates include offset walls, designed to prevent enemies from entering directly. The protruding sections at the four corners and midpoints of the walls were strategically built for attacking and monitoring enemies from the sides.
East Nine Royal Tombs [UNESCO World Heritage] (구리 동구릉 [유네스코 세계문화유산])

The East Nine Royal Tombs, situated on the eastern outskirts of Hanyang (the Joseon dynasty capital), represent a significant collection of nine royal burial sites. This area serves as the final resting place for seven kings and ten queens from the Joseon era. The surrounding forest paths are accessible to the public during the spring and fall seasons. Additionally, the East Nine Royal Tombs Healing Culture and Arts Festival takes place here every autumn, offering a blend of cultural and artistic experiences.
East Sea Jungang Market (동쪽바다중앙시장)

East Sea Jungang Market naturally formed after the opening of Mukho Port in 1943. Since 2001, the market has been installing rain covers and transitioning from a traditional-style market to a modern-day market equipped with a parking lot. In addition to the wide array of goods, the market also has Gui Town ("Grill Town"), attracting customers with savory cooking smell, and a youth market "Singsings."
Ebagu Crafts Workshop (이바구공작소)

Ebagu Crafts Workshop was created as part of an urban regeneration project centered along Sanbok Road. The workshop serves as an archive center for the stories of local residents in Sanbok Road, and a new planned exhibition is held every two months. Eco Healing Red Clay Trail (에코힐링 황톳길)

The Eco Healing Red Clay Trail is located along the border of Cheonan and Asan. This 2.5km walking path is intended for barefoot hiking, featuring both mats and red clay surfaces. It links to conventional hiking trails that ascend into the mountains. The surrounding forest offers opportunities for forest bathing, with the chance to spot small wildlife among the trees. For relaxation, pavilions and chairs are dispersed along the trail, and facilities for foot washing are available at the end of the trail.
Eco Land Theme Park (에코랜드테마파크)

Eco Land Theme Park is built in the 1 km² Gotjawal primeval forest. Visitors can explore around in a train that looks like an 1800s steam-powered Baldwin train. The seven Baldwin train look-alikes (Lincoln Train) operated in the park were specially ordered and manually manufactured in the UK. In the large Gotjawal forest with railway trails, visitors can see a variety of plants, animals, and insects living in the mysterious Gotjawal forests, while touring around by special train. It also has a lake for visitors to experience the ecosystem of the forest, take a walk and enjoy a picnic. Besides, there are many things to enjoy including Eco Bridge, Eco Windmill, Picnic Garden, Kid’s Town, Eco Road, Bare Foot on Scoria, Floating Café, and topiary artworks.
