Jangsado Island is located in Hansan-myeon, Tongyeong, about a kilometer west of the southern tip of Geojedo Island. The park also has various amenities like an Outdoor Stage and an Outdoor Gallery. From observatories scattered throughout the park, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Namhae Sea. Jangsado Sea Park, also known as Camellia, is just a ten-minute boat ride from Geunpo Port in Geoje.

The 6-kilometer-long Jangyu Daecheonggyegok Valley is located at the foot of Bulmosan Mountain, where the water flowing into the valley divides into two principal streams. Lush trees and clean water make up the area’s beautiful natural landscape. A 30-minute hike along the valley will take hikers to Jangyuam Hermitage where they will find the stupa of Jangyuhwasang, who is said to have spread Buddhism for the first time in Korea. Visitors flock to Jangyu Daecheonggyegok Valley not only to enjoy the scenery, but also to taste the delicious duck, chicken, and baeksuk (chicken soup with rice) dishes sold around the area. In 1984, the valley was integrated into Jangyupokpo Recreational Park where bridges were built and water supply facilities were placed at two locations. Sangjeolgyo Bridge at the entrance to the valley is 30 meters, while Bonpogyo Bridge is 4 meters. A 1,720 meter-long forest trail was also created. The rugged mountain terrain offers a challenging, yet highly interesting climb up the mountain.

Japanese-style House in Sinheung-dong was designated as Registered Cultural Heritage in 2005. The area of Sinheung-dong, where the Hirotsu House is located, was a residential area for the wealthy class during the Japanese occupation period. The house is named after Hirotsu, the man who built the house. Several Korean movies and dramas such as "The General’s Son (1990)," Fighter in the Wind (2004)," and "Tazza: The High Rollers (2006)" were filmed in this house. The house is a typical Japanese two-story timber house, keeping the original forms of its roof, outer walls, inside area and the Japanese-style garden which has significant meaning in regards to the architecture history.

JARA ISLAND takes its name from its view of a hill resembling a terrapin, "jara" in Korean. Comprising four smaller isles—Dongdo, Seodo, Jungdo, and Namdo—the island is being developed with leisure and ecological park amenities. Jungdo features a sprawling cultural park, centered around a lush grassy plaza that spans over 100 meters in diameter. Meanwhile, the west end of the Jarasum Campground is home to Ewhawon, a park designed to immerse visitors in natural ecology. Beyond its renown as a prime camping destination, Jara Island has also gained fame for hosting the Jarasum International Jazz Festival annually since 2004.
