Siheung Baegot Hanul Park Seawater Pool is a captivating water playground situated within Siheung Baegot Hanul Park. The area is adorned with palm trees and shade canopies, lending an exotic ambiance to it. This summer-only facility offers forty five-minute play sessions, each followed by a fifteen-minute break. It can accommodate up to 1,000 guests per session on a first-come, first-served basis, and admission is exclusively through card payments. For safety reasons, due to the potentially slippery surfaces, visitors are required to wear aqua shoes.

Siheung Gaetgol Eco Park in Gyeonggi-do features the nation's only inland beach along the shores of a river that ebbs and flows with the ocean tide. The park offers the chance to learn about the traditional salt-making techniques, as well as the many unique flora that grow here. The park was designated as a National Ocean Wetland Protection Zone in February 2012.

By incorporating games and activities, Siheung Gaetgol Festival aims to raise awareness about ecology, the environment, and family. “Gaetgol” refers to the water channels flowing through tidal flats during low tide, home to various halophytes, wetland creatures, and over 60 species of birds, making it an ecological treasure trove. The festival features a wide range of exciting programs. The activities include the “Eco-orienteering Mission Game,” where participants wear “Family Run” T-shirts and explore the festival grounds, a salt playground on the salt pans, Gaetgol Metaverse Family Run, Gaetgol Test, and Family Speed Quiz. Families completing the missions receive a completion medal from the festival. ◎ TipDon‘t miss the Acoustic Festival, Jazz Concert, and Gaetgol Moonlight Night Tour set against the backdrop of the salt playground at the old salt field and Gaetgol. As an eco-friendly festival, it promotes a car-free environment. Bring your tumblers and reusable containers to participate with a sense of pride.

The place of Kuk Yeonsoo and Choi Ung's hug from behind Oido, an island that was isolated from the mainland until 100 years ago, became inland with the creation of the Gunja Salt Farm and the construction of the Sihwa Embankment. It is the largest shell mound historic site on the west coast, and various Neolithic artifacts have been excavated, and the entire island has been designated as Historic Site No. 441. Inside the museum, which records the history of Oido, there are various interesting experiences and exhibitions that give a glimpse of life in the Neolithic Age. Outside the building, there is an overpass with many pillars where Kuk Yeonsoo gave Choi Ung a back hug. On the floor of the branch, there is a sticker that reads ‘Our Beloved Summer’, so it's good to take a commemorative photo.

Sikjangsan (623.6 meters) is a mountain spanning three regions - Dong-gu of Daejeon, Gunbuk-myeon and Gunseo-myeon of Okcheon-gun. As the tallest peak in the city located in the southeastern part of Dong-gu, Daejeon, it stands proudly next to great mountains in neighboring regions such as Seodaesan, the tallest peak in Chungcheongnam-do (904 meters), and Daeseongsan, the tallest in Okcheon (705 meters). Home of a 4.82 million-square-meter large, natural ecosystem preservation forest designated by the city, Sikjangsan is an ecological repository featuring plants of 224 species, 45 varieties, 187 genera, and 78 families; 45 kinds of mammals such as roe deer, squirrels, wildcats, raccoons and bats; over 100 types of birds; reptiles; and amphibians. Sikjangsan Cultural Park is an ecological park that continues from Secheon Park to Sikjangsan Sunrise Observatory. The cultural park was established at the peak of the mountain, which had been regarded as one of the best nightscape viewpoints in Daejeon. A traditional tower built inside the cultural park adds a sense of classical dignity. An observatory from which the entire city can be seen in a single view is also located here. People of all ages and genders visit the tower and observatory to enjoy the expansive view of Daejeon.

Simgokseowon Confucian Academy is a traditional Joseon-era academy dedicated to the influential scholar Jo Gwang-jo (1482–1519). Simin Jegwa is located in Daeheung-dong, Buk-gu, Pohang-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do. It is a bakery-cafe that opened its doors in 1949. Over the years, Simin Jegwa built a loyal following in Pohang and beyond. Its historic value as the first bakery in Pohang was recognized by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. The signature menu items are the 1949 Danpatppang (bun with red bean filling) and the 1949 Chapsaltteok (sweet rice cake with red bean filling). Other famous baked goods include the jeongguji ppang (chives bun), a soft bun filled with Pohang chives; canelé, a French pastry made with plenty of butter and vanilla beans; and Geomjeong Gomusin (black rubber shoes), a bun made with French gourmet butter and fine red bean paste.
