Prior to becoming an art space in 2007, Tongui-dong Boan served as a place for rest for travelers from 1942 to 2005. After a short suspension, the place was renovated into a cultural space in 2017 to carry on the historical legacy and provide creative inspiration under the concept of "Boanstay." Built in 553 during the 14th year of Silla King Jinheung's reign, Beopjusa Temple is located on Songnisan Mountain. Boeun Samnyeonsanseong Fortress (보은 삼년산성)

Samnyeongsanseong Fortress was built during the Silla dynasty. The sprawling stone walls stretch 1.7 kilometers in length with x_heights and x_widths of 13-20 and 8-10 meters respectively. The name of the fortress comes from the time it took to complete the construction, three years ("sam nyeon" in Korean). The fortress was the site of many battles between Silla and Baekje during the Three Kingdoms Period.

Boeun White Dandelion Eco-Village is located in Boeun-gun. The hanok building comprises two floors. The upper part of the hanok is used for accommodation and dining, while the lower part of the building serves as both a gallery and lodging. In addition to accommodation, visitors can enjoy various hands-on experience programs, including embroidery, natural dyeing, printmaking, puffed grain making, and a Joseon-era lifestyle experience. It has recently gained popularity after being featured in a variety show with K-pop idols.

Bogeumjari[Korea Quality] / 보금자리[한국관광 품질인증]

Bogeumjari is a cozy accommodation located in Gangjin Dalbit Hanok Village, Boseong, Jeollanam-do. It has two rooms, one of which is a Gudeul room, an underfloor heated room heated by wood burning in the furnace and with walls made of cypress. The Numaru room has a separate door leading to the outer numaru and pavilion. Sitting on the pavilion in the middle of the yard, you can see the ridge of Wolchulsan Mountain and the green tea fields in the distance. Welcome tea, refreshments, and complimentary breakfast are provided.

Bogildo Island (보길도)

Bogil-myeon, Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do

Located about 12 kilometers away from Wando Port, Bogildo Island was once inhabited by a famous Joseon poet named Yun Seon-do, who found the island by chance when he sought shelter from a typhoon he encountered on his way to Jeju Island. During his 10-year stay on the island, he built 25 buildings, including Seyeonjeong and Nakseonjae Pavilions. His most noted work "Eobusasisa" was also written here. The island has three beautiful beaches, serving as a popular vacation destination. The southernmost Yesong-ri Beach is especially popular for its astounding views with a 1.4-kilometer stretch of pebbled shore with an evergreen forest nearby.
