Starpark (Chilgapsan Astrnomical Observatory) (칠갑산천문대 스타파크)

Starpark, also known as Chilgapsan Astronomical Observatory, is nestled within Chilgapsan Provincial Park in Cheongyang-gun, Chungcheongnam-do. This observatory is a science museum with a focus on astronomy and space, catering to both the general public and students. Conveniently, it's just a five-minute walk from the parking area. The facility is housed in a three-story structure. On the first floor, visitors can enjoy a three-dimensional dome theater and an audiovisual room. The second floor houses a publicity center and an observation deck. The observatory’s main observation room is on the third floor and features Korea’s largest refracting telescope (APO 304 mm), which is used primarily for viewing sunspots and prominences during the day. Additionally, there’s an auxiliary observation room equipped with Korea's first 180-degree hemispherical three-stage sliding system. This room is designed for nighttime stargazing and is fitted with a 400-milimeter reflecting telescope for observing planets, star clusters, and nebulae. Children are particularly fond of the 12-meter geo-massive astronomical projection room, where they can experience 5D images. For those wishing to extend their visit, accommodations are available at Namcheon-ri Sanchon Ecological Village or nearby Alps Village. Staying in these locations provides easy access to both the Chilgapsan Astronomical Observatory and the Cheonjangho Suspension Bridge, making for a comprehensive educational and recreational experience.

Starry Night Jeju (스테리나잇 제주)

Located in Aewol, Jeju Island, Starry Night offers sea views from all rooms overlooking Handam Beach. There are restaurants and convenience stores on the first floor, and there are rooms on the second and third floors. Hadong Healfort, situated halfway up the mountain in Akyang-myeon, Hadong, Gyeongsangnam-do, is located near Pyeongsa-ri, which is the setting of the novel Toji, and offers a panoramic view of the Seomjingang River. Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Shin (충무공 이순신 동상)

The Statue of Admiral Yi Sun-Shin can be found at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul. Admiral Yi Sun-shin (1545-1598) was a naval commander who served during the Japanese invasion of Korea (also known as Imjin War: 1592-1598). The undefeated admiral achieved 23 victories against the Japanese navy using innovative tactics, and he is thus considered as one of the greatest generals in the history of Korea. Admiral Yi’s likeness can be found on the 100 won coin.
Statue of General Kim Jwajin (김좌진장군동상)

The Statue of General Kim Jwajin was erected to commemorate General Kim's efforts in leading the Independence Army against Japan during the Battle of Cheongsan-ri. This was one of the greatest victories in the war fro Korean independence.

The main building comprises two bedrooms with queen-size bed, a living room and kitchen, and two bathrooms. The annex building is rather special: it has a bath and sauna behind a window wall with a fine view of the hanok garden. There’s a 10% discount for guests staying more than two nights during the week.

The guest rooms of Stay Hwangryong include Hwangryong, good for six guests, Sarangchae 1 and 2 that are both good for two travelers, and a Maru that is the equivalent of a living room. The modern hanok retains the traditional beauty, while having added the convenience of modern facilities. Bright lightings on the ceiling and glass windows dressed in white curtains that replaced hanji give a more trendy look. Individual heating system per room, WiFi, and air conditioning are provided. The kitchen is equipped with a rice cooker, induction cooktop, and other kitchenware for those who wish to cook during the stay. Each room has a barbecue grill for guests to enjoy. The yard with plentiful sunlight is good for small gatherings, such as family gatherings and birthday parties.
