Halla Arboretum (한라수목원)

Halla Arboretum is home to nearly 1,100 species of plants, including both natvie jeju flora and exotic subtropical species. The arboretum offers visiors with the opportunity to enojy a variety of wildflowers throughout the year. It features specialized gardens dedicated to rare Jeju plants, orchids, aquatic plants, along with greenhouses and a forest bath site located along the Gwangioreum Trail. The trail is known for its gentle incline, making it ideal for leisurely strolls. These walks offer the ideal opportunity to fully appreciate the fragrant array of flowers blooming along the path. ◎ Travel information discovering the charm of Hallyu - Variety Show This arboretum, known as the filming location of Hyori’s Bed & Breakfast, a symbol of life in Jeju, features and displays over 1,100 species of plants, including native Jeju species and subtropical plants. The 50,000-pyeong forest bathing area serves as a resting space like an urban forest for both tourists and Jeju residents. The outdoor walking trails are open until 11:00 p.m., making it suitable for night walks.

Hallasan Mountain (한라산)

Hallasan Mountain stands proudly at the center of Jeju Island and is perhaps the island’s most memorable landmark. Also called Yeongjusan Mountain, meaning "mountain high enough to pull the galaxy," Hallasan Mountain is widely known by scientists for its geological value. Designated as a national park in 1970, there are 368 parasitic cones called "oreum" (Jeju dialect meaning peak) around the main mountain. Hallasan Mountain is famous for its vertical ecosystem of plants that results from the varying temperatures along the mountainside. Over 1,800 kinds of plants and 4,000 species of animals (3,300 species of insects) have been identified; to explore the mountain's treasures, simply follow one of the well-developed hiking trails.
Hallim Park (한림공원)

Hallim Park is one of the most popular tourist spots on Jeju Island, located approximately 33 kilometers west of Jeju-si and Hallasan Mountain along the beach in Hallim-eup. It faces the pleasant scenery of Biyangdo Island, Hyeopjae Beach, and Geumneung Beach. The park was established in early 1971 on barren land with the importation of tons of earth and the planting of assorted subtropical plants. Hallim Park, reaching almost 100 thousand square meters, has a variety of gardens that can be enjoyed in any season. Visitors can enjoy Palm Tree Road, Jeju Stone and Bonsai Garden, Water Garden, Subtropical Botanic Garden, and much more. The most famous tourist sites in Hallim Park are Hyeopjaegul and Ssangyonggul Caves, known to be the only two-dimensional caves in the world. In addition, a folk village, children's amusement park, and outdoor resort facilities make it enjoyable for both children and adults.

Hallim Port (한림항)

◎ Travel Information to Discover Hallyu’s Charm Jeju’s Hallim Port has become a popular filming location for K-Dramas. It served as the backdrop for the auction scene in Episode 1 of "Our Blues (2022)," and in Episode 14 of "When Life Gives You Tangerines (2025)," it appears as the port where Ae-sun and Gwan-sik pick up their son Eun-myeong from a deep-sea fishing boat. As a tourist destination, it offers the same glimpse into Jeju's everyday scenery and rhythms as seen in these dramas.
Hallim Traditional 5-Day Market (4th and 9th) (한림민속 5일시장 (4, 9일))

Hallim Traditional 5-Day Market is the largest market in the western part of Jeju (Hallim and Aewol) and is responsible for providing food, clothing, and shelter for Jeju locals. There is a store that sells bingtteok (buckwheat crepes with radish filling), Jeju's traditional food and dessert. There are many restaurants with Jeju vibes, including shops selling omegi tteok (millet rice cake). Hallim Traditional 5-Day Market is an ideal place to enjoy the local atmosphere and food. The market opens on dates ending with 4 and 9.
Hallym University of Graduate Studies (한림국제대학원대학교)

Founded in 2004 by Ilsong Educational Foundation, Hallym University of Graduate Studies is a private college located at 405, Yeoksam-ro, Gangnam-gu. Originally, it was founded as an international graduate college of Hallym University in 1997, but it has separated from Hallym University as of 2004.
Halmae Bokguk (할매복국)

This pufferfish specialty restaurant was established in 1986. The restaurant is renowned for its bokguk or bokjiri. Its clean broth and generous serving of pufferfish fillets enhance the flavor. The collagen jelly made from pufferfish skin is also considered a delicacy.

Hambaeksan Mountain (함백산)
4246-55, Taebaeksan-ro, Taebaek-si, Gangwon-do
With an elevation of 1,573 meters above sea level, Hambaeksan Mountain is the tallest mountain in the eastern part of Gangwon-do. The main ridge of the mountain stretches between the city of Taebaek to the east and Yeongwol and Jeongseon counties to the west. The mountain offers a fine vantage point from which to get a sweeping look at the entire region (including Taebaeksan and Baegunsan mountains) and commands a striking view of the sunrise over East Sea. Hambaeksan Mountain is particularly well known for its breathtaking snowscapes and extensive wildflower beds.
Hambyeongnu Pavilion (함벽루)
80 Jukjuk-gil, Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do
Included in Hapcheon's Eight Scenic Views, Hambyeongnu Pavilion was built in 1321, during the 8th year of Goryeo King Chungsuk by Hapcheon County Lord Kim. The location at the base of Daeyaseong Fortress, the pavilion offers views of Jeongyangho Lake on the Hwanggang River. The pavilion was visited by many poets, with writings from Toegye Yi Hwang, Nammyeong Josil, and Wooam Song Si-yeol hanging from tablets inside, and a rock engraved with "Hambyeongnu" in the handwriting of Song Si-yeol behind the pavilion. Hambyeongnu is a 3-pillar wide by 2-pillar deep, 2-story pavilion, with an octagonal roof connected with a frame of five parts. The roof of the pavilion is famous in that when it rains, the water drips straight off the eaves and into the river below.

Hamchang Silk Museum (함창명주박물관)

Hamchang Silk Museum is dedicated to increasing the awareness and appreciation of naturally made silk. The area has been famous for its silk production since the Silla dynasty, and is even now home to the nation's largest silk market. The Hamchang Silk Museum, located within Hamchang Silk Theme Park, exhibits this long history.

Hamdeok Beach (함덕해수욕장 (함덕 서우봉 해변))
519-10 Johamhaean-ro, Jeju-si, Jeju-do
Hamdeok Beach is located along Jeju Olle Trail Course 19. It is also referred to as Hamdeok Seoubonghaebyeon Beach due to the volcanic cone nearby. Located just 20 kilometers from Jeju International Airport, the beach is famous for its great scenery of emerald-blue waters, tall palm trees, and white sandy shore. The beach is considered one of Jeju's top three beaches. To the western end of the beach, there is a bridge built over the water. Additional amenities include a grassy field perfect for picnics and a coastal walking trail. In particular, many people visit during summer evenings to enjoy the night sea. Seoubong Volcanic Cone is beautiful in spring when it is covered in yellow canola blossoms. Climbing up to the summit offers fantastic views of the entire area, including Hallasan Mountain on clear days.

Hamdeok Catholic Church (합덕성당)

Hamdeok Catholic Church was built in 1929 in the gothic style. The church started out as Yangchon Catholic Church in Sanggung-ri, but was moved to the current location by the priest, and renamed Hamdeok Catholic Church. The name was later changed to New Apdeok Catholic Church before being returned to the current Hamdeok Catholic Church.

Hamel Lighthouse (하멜등대)
96 Hamel Road, Yeosu, Jeollanam-do
One of the actual locations that served as a backdrop for the drama " Behind Your Touch," this lighthouse, named after Hendrick Hamel, the author of "Hamel's Journal and a Voyage to Lilliput," is situated at the end of the breakwater in Yeosu Harbor Marine Park.
Hamheodongcheon Campground (함허동천야영장)

Hamheodongcheon Campground is a camping site nestled in the Hamheodongcheon valley on the northern slope of Manisan Mountain in Ganghwa-do, inaugurated in 1987. Enveloped by lush forests, it provides a picturesque setting and is especially favored as a summer retreat destination. The first campground accommodates electricity usage and operates through an internet reservation system, whereas the second to fourth campgrounds operate on a first-come, first-served basis without prior reservations.
