Hanok Garden in Jeonju / 전주한옥마당

Jeonju Hanok Garden in Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeollabuk-do, is a guesthouse combining traditional hanok charm with modern comfort. All guestrooms have a modern bathroom and toilet and a toenmaru wooden porch, while two rooms (Hope and Faith) have an additional inner floors attached to it. The room interiors have exposed wooden beams and hanji-covered walls and doors. From any room, guests enjoy a view of the beautiful yard with its jangdokdae jar store, flower pots and young pine trees.
Hanok Guesthouse Dongchonchae (한옥 게스트하우스 동촌재)

Dongchonjae is a hanok guesthouse in Seochon, Jongno, Seoul. The the Anchae(women's quarters) consists of four sleeping rooms and a cheongmaru lounge space, plus kitchen and toilet. (There are also shared toilets in the yard.) Cooking is not allowed, but guests are welcome to bring in prepared food. A free breakfast is provided. Guests can watch movies in the yard or main hall, and can use the refrigerator and washing machine. A guided night tour of Seoul City Wall is offered, as is a tea ceremony, and rice-cake making experience.
Hanok Pension The-Nine (한옥펜션 더나인)

This is a Hanok pension where all the members of 'I Live Alone' went on a trip together and stayed. The most special thing about this place is that it has a swimming pool inside. There is a shallow pool for children and two pools for adults, which can be used freely. Towels are provided and you can rent a tube to enjoy a comfortable swim. The interior is also conveniently decorated while preserving the beauty of a Hanok, and all facilities are tidy. There is also a separate barbecue area.
Hanokinn (한옥人(한옥인))

The Hanok Inn is a hotel-class traditional guesthouse in Sansu-dong, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, which consists of 4 separate buildings. The sarangchae - a two-story hanok with a hipped roof - contains a double room and a large family room, finished with red clay and hanji paper; both rooms have toilets. The annex building is a one-storey gable-roofed hanok with a raised wooden patio where guests can drink tea and relax. In the main building there’s a hanok experience room and a friendly cafe-restaurant where breakfast is served. The hanok’s back gate gives onto an alley leading to Hwangnidan-gil, Cheomseongdae Observatory, and the Daereungwon tomb complex; this alley is a favorite photo spot.

Hanok Story, on Hyanggyo-gil in Jeonju Hanok Village, Jeollabuk-do, is a hanok guesthouse that harmonizes tradition with convenience. Each room is equipped with a toilet, TV and AC, and one room has cooking facilities. In the yard is a 50-year-old persimmon tree - the house’s tutelary spirit - and a cafeteria built of cypress wood. Here visitors can enjoy tea or a free breakfast, while at weekends tea ceremonies are held (but book ahead for this).

Hansan Ramie Fabric Cultural Festival (한산모시문화제)

Ramie fabric is a traditional Korean cloth with good ventilation, making it the fabric of choice for summer clothing. Hansan’s ramie is used to make high-end clothing due to its delicate and elegant texture. It is also an eco-friendly fiber that is extracted from ramie grass and weaved into a loom. Hansan’s ramie weaving was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2011 in recognition of its unique production technology as well as its ability to strengthen community solidarity in the process. At the Hansan Ramie Fabric Cultural Festival, visitors can participate in the “Ramie School” program and learn the weaving process. Other attractions include Gilssam Nori, a ramie-weaving work, and a fashion show featuring clothes made from Hansan ramie is a highlight not to be missed.◎ TipDuring the festival, a free shuttle bus operates from the Hansan Mosi Hall parking lot to the festival venue.

Mukho Lighthouse, visible in the distance alongside the blue sea and white sand, serves as a picturesque backdrop for photos. The Hanseom Gamseong Sea Trail is a 2.2-kilometer-long trail, connecting Hanseomhaebyeon Beach, Gobulgae, and Gase Village. Part of the trail is a deck-built promenade, making it a perfect course for a stroll while enjoying the lush pine forest on one side and the blue sea on the other.

Hansongjeong Garden (한송정가든)

Hansongjeong Garden is owned by a first-rate chef who only uses carefully selected ingredients. The owner-chef won the Grand Prize in the SIFE Seoul International Culinary Competition 2007 and received a bronze medal for his work at the Gangwon Tour Service Competition. He also has a patent on Eolgari Nangmyeon (Cold Buckwheat Noodles with Eolgari Kimchi).
Hantaek Botanical Garden (한택식물원)

Established in 1979, Hantaek Botanical Garden features the nation's largest botanical garden which houses total of 9,700 plant species including 2,400 species of wild plants and 7,300 species of foreign plants. Along with various domestic and international plant species, the botanical garden makes an effort in research studies through the botanical lab, interactions with domestic and international botanical gardens and modernized facilities. Also, it was designated as Rare plant and Extinction crisis plant habitat and conservation by the Ministry of Environment and has been carrying out acts to preserve national grown-plants and restoring the habitats continuously as well as various hands-on programs and exhibitions that offer education about nature. Hantaek Botanical Garden is comprised of Natural Ecology Hall, Water Plant Botanical Garden, Wall Garden, Rock Garden, Silver Grass Garden and Hemerocallis collections, Hosta collections, Iris garden, and other gardens. Australia Plant Greenhouse, exhibiting baobab trees, South Africa Greenhouse, Herb greenhouse, and a rest area are also available for visitors.

Goseok Rock, located in the area of Hantangang River, is a granite rock that reach 15 meters in x_height. The area is often called Goseokjeong, named after the nearby Goseokjeong Pavilion. The area is an important geology and topography learning site where it is visible to see the topography before the formation of the basalt lava field and the fact that the basalt lava flowed over the bedrock to form the lava field. Goseok is a bedrock that existed before the area of Cheorwon was covered with lava, and is a granite formed underground about 110 million years ago (mid Cretaceous period). It is covered in basalt lava by volcanic activity that occurred between about 540,000 and 120,000 years ago, and then eroded by the Hantangang River to form a new waterway.
