HanGwa Culture Museum Hangaone (한과문화박물관 한가원)

The Hangwa Culture Museum is the first museum in Korea to have a theme centered on traditional Korean sweets. Its first floor exhibits the history of hangwa, tools used to make it, and the various types (Yakgwa, Yugwa, Yumilgwa, Jeongwa, Dasik, and Gangjeong), while the second floor offers seasonal hangwa, hangwa with tea, hangwa areas in Pocheon, information from hangwa experts, and tourism information on Pocheon. The education center runs colorful hands-on programs offering visitors an opportunity to make hangwa and also learn about traditional tea culture.

Hanhwa Aqua Planet Yeosu (아쿠아플라넷 여수)
61-11 Odongdo-ro, Yeosu-si, Jeollanam-do
Hanhwa Aqua Planet Yeosu is the second largest aquarium in Korea and the first to be built entirely aboveground. Opened in 2012 with the Yeosu World Expo, the aquarium is an environmentally friendly building, using solar power for most of its energy use. The aquarium is divided into different sections such as Ocean Life, Marine Life, and Aqua Forest, as well as a hands-on experience zone. There are approximately 55,000 marine animals of about 300 species including rare animals such as beluga (white whale) and baikal seal living in the aquarium.

Hani Lavender Farm (하늬라벤더팜)

The Hani Lavender Farm transforms into a sea of purple every June, as its lavender fields reach full bloom. During this time, the farm celebrates with a Lavender Festival, featuring concerts and workshops on making lavender sachets. Beyond lavender, the farm showcases other floral attractions such as rye fields and hydrangea gardens. Visitors can capture memorable photos against the stunning natural scenery and indulge in unique treats like lavender ice cream.

The basement floor comprises Hanji Open Archive, Hanji Print Studio, and Hanji Workroom, where most of the hands-on activities and classes are held. Hanji House also offers a docent program for exploring the whole area.
