Southernmost Theme Park (최남단체험감귤농장)

Southernmost Theme Park is a rural ecological farm that offers various year-round experiences. In addition to citrus harvesting, it features insect observation activities, including butterflies, rhinoceros beetles, and stag beetles, animal feeding for sika deer, black pigs, and ostriches, and craft classes like citrus-based food preparation and soap making.
Soyang Dam (소양강댐)
1128, Sinsaembat-ro, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do
Built in October 1973, Soyang Dam is the largest dam in Korea. It stands 123 meters high and 530 meters long and can hold up to 29 million tons of water. The stored water which has become Soyangho Lake, is Korea's largest man-made lake, spanning a large area that borders the Gangwon-do cities and districts of Chuncheon, Hongcheon, Yanggu, and Inje. Visitors can enjoy riding a ferry or walking on the 2.5-kilometer walking trail. Various restaurants and attractions are also nearby.
Soyang Hanok Stay (소양고택 한옥스테이)

Located in Wanju, Jeollabuk-do, Soyang House was renovated as a hanok stay in 2010 following the relocation of three 180-year-old hanok houses in danger of demolition. Seohyeondang is furnished with a red clay ondol room equipped with a bathroom and a space for a tea ceremony, and Gahuidang has a cypress bathtub in the bathroom. In Jewoldang, the daecheong (wooden-floored hall) offers an excellent view of the mountain in front of the hanok, while in Hyeondang, the numaru (balcony-like raised veranda) provides a panoramic view of the entire premises. Breakfast and welcome tea are provided as a complimentary service, but cooking is prohibited. Nearby tourist attractions include Songgwangsa Temple and Oseong Reservoir.
Soyanggang Skywalk (소양강스카이워크)

The Soyanggang Skywalk, extending over the river, spans 174 meters in length, with a transparent glass floor covering 156 meters of its section. At the end of the skywalk, visitors will find a circular plaza and an observatory, renowned for their panoramic views, especially of the sunsets. Additionally, the Ssogarisang sculpture, depicting a leopard mandarin fish, stands on the opposite side of the plaza, drawing in visitors. Water from a fountain flows from this sculpture at fixed intervals, adding to the allure.
Soyangho Lake (Inje Section) (소양호-인제)

Soyangho Lake, one of the biggest manmade lakes in Korea, along with Chungjuho Lake, was created in 1973 when the world’s fourth largest dam, Soyang Dam, standing 123 meters high, was constructed. The 60-kilometer watercourse connecting Chuncheon and Inje is a route along which you can enjoy the beautiful hills and streams of Naeseorak. In the Inje section, upstream of the lake, there are various species of fish such as carp, crusian, leather carp, mandarin fish and pond smelt, attracting many tourists and fisherman. Fishing spots are found in areas such as Gunchukgyo Bridge, Bupyeong, Gwandae-ri, and Sangsunaeri Fishing Pier. Also, from December and March when a portion of the lake near Gunchukgyo Bridge freezes, you can bore holes through the ice sheet and enjoy ice-fishing for pond smelt.
Soyangho Lake (Yanggu Section) (소양호(양구))

Soyangho Lake is a man-made lake that was created when Soyang Dam, the biggest rock-filled dam in Asia, was built in 1973. The lake is a hotspot for aquatic tourism and the lakeside road is an important route that connects Chuncheon and Yanggu. It is also a popular fishing spot as over 50 types of fishes can be found.
Soyangho Makguksu Street (소양호 막국수거리)
Cheonjeon-ri, Sinbuk-eup, Chuncheon-si, Gangwon-do
Makguksu (buckwheat noodles) is a traditional dish made from coarse buckwheat flour, where only the outer husk of the grain is removed. Originally served to honored guests in the Chuncheon region, the dish gained widespread popularity after the Korean War as a staple food during times of economic hardship. Today, the area near Soyangho Lake in Chuncheon is famous for its dedicated "Makguksu Street," a destination frequented by both tourists and locals alike. The noodles can be enjoyed in a chilled kimchi or dongchimi (radish water kimchi) broth, or served dry and tossed with vegetables and seasonings. Diners often customize the flavor with vinegar, mustard, or a splash of broth. For a complete meal, it is common to pair the noodles with other regional specialties like memilbuchim (buckwheat pancake) or savory memiljeonbyeong (buckwheat crepe). The district is also conveniently located near several attractions, including the scenic Jungdo Tourist Resort at Uiamho Lake and Korea’s first Animation Museum, making it an excellent stop for a day trip.

The book says red ginseng slows the aging process and boosts one's energy, helping you live longer. It's effective in restoring vitality and alleviating fatigue. Red ginseng is made by steaming ginseng for approx. 3 hours without peeling it and then letting it dry slowly. This steaming and drying process reduces ginseng's sugar level while creating an active compound, which enhances its efficacy. Saponin, which is abundant in red ginseng, is known for boosting one's immunity and restoring vitality. Notably, ginsenoside helps with digestion, metabolism, and the absorption of nutrients, thereby restoring one's energy. SPA 1978 Donginbi, run by the premium red ginseng brand Jung Kwan Jang, is a specialized spa facility that uses beneficial red ginseng.

Spaland Centum City has the merit of being both a traditional Korean-style public bath and an urban Japanese-style public bath. Spaland offers services tailored to customer's preferences by using carbonated and saline hot springs drawn from 1,000 meters underground. The facility consists of two floors and an outdoor spa. There are 22 baths including a kid's bath, 13 jjimjilbang facilities (Korean sauna), saunas, and an open-air foot bath. Noteworthy facilities include Roman Sauna, which is a recreation of an ancient Roman bath; a dry sauna where visitors can experience traditional Finnish-style saunas; and the Salt Room made with Himalayan salt. As such, Spaland features well-known sauna styles from different countries.Spaland enhances the effect of the hot springs by providing 100% natural hot spring water at varying temperatures. Its high-temperature bath rapidly increases one's body temperature, and the medium-temperature bath is good for a leisurely soak. The large public bath hall has windows allowing natural light, and the HVAC system is of hotel grade or higher. Visitors can relieve their stress while enjoying a healthy bath in a large-scale bath pool surrounded by nature.
