Dosan Park (도산공원)

Located in Sinsa-dong, Seoul, Dosan Park, a neighborhood park, was built in 1973 to pay tribute to Dosan Ahn Chang-ho’s patriotism. Dosan Ahn Chang-ho’s tomb was moved here from Manguri Public Cemetery as well as his wife, Lee Hyeryen, whose tomb was moved from Los Angeles. The tribute was extended by naming the boulevard from Cheongdam-dong to Nonhyeon-dong, as Dosan-daero. Visitors can find a bronze statue, monument with quotations, epitaph headstone and more within the park. Commemoration event is held on March 10th of every year.

In terms of architecture, Dosanseowon Confucian Academy complex can largely be divided into Dosanseodang compound and Dosanseowon compound. Dosanseodang area consists of living quarters and lecture halls where Toegye Yi Hwang, an eminent Confucian scholar, lived and taught his students. Dosanseowon was built after Toegye Yi Hwang passed away by his followers' to honor the legacy of his teachings as well as to pay respects to the deceased. Built in 1561, Dosanseodang lecture hall is the oldest building in the whole complex. It was personally designed by Yi Hwang, penname Toegye, to further his studies while educating future scholars after moving to the countryside. Living quarters used as a student dormitory were also built along with the lecture hall. Dosanseowon compound was completed in 1576, six years after Yi Hwang's death. Yi Hwang's ancestral tablet was enshrined inside Sangdeoksa Shrine in 1572. Two years later, Jeongyodang Lecture Hall was built to relocate the tablet and with the addition of buildings to the hall's east and west, the area became a seowon. In 1575, the establishment was bestowed a royal charter and a plaque with the name Dosanseowon written by Han Seok-bong, and became the Confucian academy headquarters in the Yeongnam region. ◎ Travel information to meet Hallyu’s charm - variety show"I Am Solo" This is where participants were dressed in hanbok and matched with a partner based solely on the color of their clothes, regardless of their will. Follow the hiking trails around the academy to see notable monuments like a massive willow tree, and Sisadan Stele.

Dosimdawon (도심다원)

Hadong's tea fields, which are known as the thousand-year-old tea fields, are characterized by being wild rather than cultivated. Among the many tea gardens in Hadong, the one with the most beautiful and peaceful scenery is Dosimdawon. In “House on Wheels,” actor and singer Yim Si-wan and Girls' Generation Yoona sat in a pavilion and sipped green tea while looking out at the green tea fields stretched out below. Tea utensils and tea leaves in a picnic basket are available for rent so that you can brew your own tea.
Dosol Museum (Hanok Gallery Cafe) (한옥카페 갤러리도솔)

Located on Ganghwado Island, Incheon, the museum is housed in a traditional hanok building with a café. Adorned with pine trees, it offers a relaxing space where visitors can enjoy traditional Korean desserts and drinks on the menu. In addition, it also offers various hands-on experience programs, such as mug-making.
Dosolgyegok Valley (Seonunsan Mountain) (도솔계곡 (선운산))

Dosolgyegok Valley is located in Seonunsan Mountain in the Gochang-gun district. Seonunsan Mountain, which is also called Dosolsan Mountain, is known for its thick forests and intriguing rock formations. Along the valley, there are many interesting sites such as Jinheungdonggul Cave, Yongmundonggul Cave, Nakjodae Overlook, and Cheonma peak. Dosolgyegok Valley is also famous for being very deep, where the mountain and water fight each other and whirl around in a yin & yang shape. The green forests in summer cover the valley beautifully, and the red leaves and white snow decorate the area in fall and winter.
Dotoreum Parasitic Cone (돛오름(돝오름))

This oreum, or parasitic cone, is located southwest of Bijarim Forest. Its name “Dot” comes from the Jeju dialect for pig, as the shape of the peak is said to resemble a pig. Dotoreum Parasitic Cone is home to a wide variety of trees and plants, but among them, it is most well-known for its bija trees. However, paths in this parasitic cone tend to be rather narrow and rugged, so one must prepare accordingly in order to climb the hill without much trouble. Visitors are advised to prepare comfortable shoes and water at the very least.
