Donnaeko Resort (Wonangpokpo Falls) (돈내코(원앙폭포))

With a valley creek hidden by lush green forest leading to a 5-meter-high waterfall falling into a small pool of water, Donnaeko Resort is like a small paradise hidden in nature. The waters, flowing down from Hallasan Mountain, are clear and icy cold even during the hot summer season. The resort's magnificent views and natural pool make the area a popular vacation destination.

Donsadon Main Store (돈사돈 본점)

Opened in 2006, Donsadon specializes in grilled Jeju heukdwaeji (black pork) and has become so popular that visitors often line up to dine. The restaurant's signature dish is heuk dwaeji gui (grilled black pork). Another offering on the menu is kimchi jjigae. As staff members grill the meat at the table, patrons can enjoy their meals in an easy and comfortable setting. An interesting feature of Donsadon is its use of briquette fire instead of charcoal fire, which imbues the meat with a distinctive smoky scent.

Dontarae Gejang Jeongsik (돈타래게장정식)

This restaurant offers ganjang gejang(Soy Sauce Marinated Crab) at affordable prices. Ganjang gejang Jeongsik features marinated crabs accompanied by a generous array of side dishes, such as saengseon-gui (grilled fish), jeyuk-bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork), jeon (Korean pancake), japchae (stir-fried glass noodles), and miyeok-guk (seaweed soup).

Dooly Museum (둘리뮤지엄)

Dooly Museum is Korea's first museum to be dedicated to a single character. The museum is dedicated to Dooly, the main character from the Korean cartoon series "Dooly the Little Dinosaur." The cartoon was published as a series on a comic magazine called "Bomulseom" from 1983 to 1993, following Dooly's adventure that begins from his arrival to Ssangmun-dong inside a glacier from the Ice Age. Inspired by the series, this interactive museum was founded in Ssangmun-dong and explores the value and meaning of the hit series through the expansion of its works such as the animation series, character merch, and other media sources.

Doosan Art Center (두산아트센터)

Doosan Art Center, which opened on October 1, 2007, is structured around three different spaces: The Yonkang Hall, exclusively designed for musical performances, Space 111, a “space for art incubation,” and the Doosan Gallery, built for installations. The Yongang Hall, a theater with 620-person seating capacity, has specially designed lightings and a world-class audio-visual system to provide a second-to-none sensory experience. Space 111 can accommodate a broad range of performing arts, from theater and dance to film and music concerts. The Doosan Gallery is open to the public, and art exhibitions and performances here can be enjoyed free of charge. All three theaters include spacious lobbies with handicapped access, designated seating for parents with infants, and meeting areas. Rest rooms are also available nearby, in order to avoid long queues and long walks during intermission.

Dora Observatory (도라전망대)
310 Je3ttanggul-ro, Jangdan-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do
Dora Observatory is the closest DMZ observatory to Panmunjeom. From Dora Observatory, one can see not only the Panmunjeom but also the village of Daeseong-dong within the DMZ, mountains and farmlands on the North Korean side, and the city of Gaeseong, a North Korean city and the historic capital of Goryeo (918-1392). Individual visits are not allowed. The observatory can only be accessed through the DMZ Peace Tour, which embarks from Imjingak Pavilion after reservation. All visitors are required to bring their identification, such as passports or Alien Registration Card (ARC).

Doraemi House (도래미)

Doraemi House in Dorae Village, Naju, Jeollanam-do, is a hanok stay with a bonchae (‘main house’), a sarangchae (men’s house) and a byeolchae (‘reception room’). The bonchae has two bedrooms with a hidden attic space. The sarangchae has a living room with bedrooms on either side; while the byeolchae, atop a low hilll, has a single cozy room. A walk along a forest road takes you to a pavilion by a pond. Next to the bonchae is a quiet and tranquil reading room.

Dorasan Station (도라산역)
556, Nosang-ri, Jangdan-myeon, Paju-si, Gyeonggi-do
Dorasan Station is the closest South Korean railway station to North Korea. Initially, the station was served by a railway that connected Seoul with China and Europe, but it was destroyed during the Korean War (1950-1953). The station and the railway were rebuilt in 2002 to prepare for the railway’s reconnection to North Korea. Dorasan Station is located 55 km away from Seoul and 205 km from Pyeongyang. All visitors are required to bring their identification, such as passports or Alien Registration Card (ARC).

Dori Village Ginkgo Tree Forest (도리마을은행나무숲)

A thick forest formed by densely planted ginkgo trees. In the fall, the golden ginkgo leaves color the forest. Noted as a wedding photo shoot hotspot, it's where Kang-ho found the twins' bouncy ball. As you wander through the village, read the beautiful phrases written on the walls, and capture a perfect shot amidst the ginkgo forest.

Dorisa Temple (Gumi) (도리사(구미))
526 Dorisa-ro, Haepyeong-myeon, Gumi-si, Gyeongsangbuk-do
Dorisa Temple, established in 417 as the earliest temple of the Silla dynasty on Naengsan Mountain, is steeped in legend. It's said that even in winter, the peach and plum blossoms here were in full bloom, marking the site as auspicious for temple construction. Hence, the temple's name, Dorisa, derives from combining syllables of “peach” (do) and “plum” (ri). The temple is home to notable cultural assets such as Geungnakjeon Hall, a unique Stone Pagoda constructed from bricks, and the Wooden Seated Amitabha Buddha, crafted from juniper wood. For those seeking spiritual respite, the temple offers templestay programs in three distinct categories: one-day, experience, and relaxation.

Dorisan Observatory (도리산전망대)

Located at the top of Mt. Dorisan in Yeomi-ri of Sangjodo Island, Dorisan Observatory is the highlight of the area, and offers panoramic views of Dadohae and its many islands including Gwanmae, Byeongpung, Nabae, Daema and Soma Islands. The eco-friendly structure provides panoramic views of nearby islands that locals like to say, “appear scattered over the sea like a flock of birds over water.” Visitors can enjoy majestic sunrise and sunset views, and on days with clear visibility, can see Bogildo Island in Haenam and even as far as Hallasan Mountain and Chujado Island in Jeju. Another of Jodo’s attractions is the nature lover spots on Hajodo Island. Jodo is comprised of the Sangjodo and Hajodo Islands connected by a bridge. The entire area is filled with pine trees and has plenty of beach access. The nearby Dondaebong Peak (230m) and the Hajodo Lighthouse offer comparable views and scenic landscapes for visitors in the area to enjoy.
