Gangjin Goryeo Celadon Kiln Site (강진 고려청자 요지)
Sadang-ri, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do
Daegu-myeon of Gangjin-gun was the primary site of Goryeo dynasty celadon production between the 9th and the 14th centuries. Covering approximately 150 acres of land in nine villages, the area has been designated as the National Historical Site since 1963, and continues to protect its 180 fire kilns and maintain the sophisticated art of celadon production. Meanwhile, celadons produced in this area have also been designated as national treasure, and regarded highly worldwide for their artistic value, so much so that some are preserved in the Louvre Museum in France.
Gangjin Goryeo Celadon Museum (강진 고려청자박물관)
33, Cheongjachon-gil, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do
Goryeo Celadon Museum was established to preserve and promote Gangjin celadon, as well as foster knowledge and creativity in regards to celedon in the next generation. The exhibition halls feature smart pads and audio explanations, combining modern technology with ancient relics for better understanding. This museum is considered to be an informative historic site to get knowledge of Goryeo Celadon through the past, present and future.
Gangjin Moonlight Hanok Village (강진달빛한옥마을)
2 Dalbithanok-gil, Seongjeon-myeon, Gangjin-gun, Jeonnam-do
This village with 29 hanok (traditional Korean house) is surrounded by Wolchulsan Mountain like a folding screen. About 10 of those unique houses offer a friendly hanok lodging experience for tourists by renting out one or two guestrooms. It is fun to see the yards of each house decorated differently from its front yard. The observatory at the village offers a panoramic view of towering Wolchulsan Mountain, expansive tea fields, rice paddies, and the cozy Gangjin Moonlight Hanok Village at a glance.
Gangjin Ziptrek (강진 짚트랙)
49-9 Gaudo-gil, Doam-myeon, Gangjin-gun, Jeollanam-do
This exciting activity can be enjoyed at the 25-meter high celadon tower located in the center of Gaudo Island. Gaudo Ziptrek is approximately 1 kilometer long and boasts the longest one in Korea as a maritime experience facility. After wearing safety equipment on the tower's first floor, visitors can ride the Ziptrek at the top of the sixth floor. The ziptrek offers an exhilarating downhill slide that feels like flying in the sky with magnificent scenery that unfolds down below. The slide ends at the entrance to the suspension bridge.
Gangju Pond (강주연못)
Yeha-ri, Jeongchon-myeon, Jinju-si, Gyeongsangnam-do
Gangju Pond is the orgin of the current Jinjuseong Fortress. It is unknown when the pond was first built, but the trees that grow around the pond are 500-600 years old, attesting to its history. During summer, the pond is filled with lotus blossoms, and it is a popular picnic location for students. The area around the pond was designated as an ecolocial park in 2004, creating a space for locals to relax and learn about the environment.
Gangmun Beach (강문해변)

Located in Gangmun-dong, Gangmun Beach is lined with fresh hoe (sliced raw fish) restaurants along Gangmunhang Port. The beach has accommodations nearby and is in close proximity to the Gyeongpo area, making it a great vacation destination. Not only is the beach a well-known diving spot among scuba divers for its deep waters and abundant marine life, but its dock is also popular among fishers all year round.◎ Travel information to meet Hallyu’s charm - TV series"She Was Pretty"This spot is where Sung-joon comes up with the idea of a photoshoot after seeing Hye-jin by the sea. Gangnam (강남)

Gangnam Subway Station area is the prime district for those living south of the Hangang River. Gangnam-daero Avenue links Teheran-ro Road in the east to Jamsil and Sadang in the west. Kyobo Tower Crossroad connects Express Terminal to Noryangjin and west of Seoul. Hannam-daegyo Avenue in the north extends to the north of the Hangang River. A southward direction leads to metropolitan areas such as Seongnam, passing Yangjae and Bundang. Many people tend to gather at Gangnam Subway Station, as the location is geographically and commercially suitable as a meeting point for social gatherings, events, or personal engagements. Hence, during the weekdays it is usually crowded in the evenings while on weekends, areas around Gangnam Subway Station exit numbers 10 and 11, as well as City Theatre, and Giordano are often bustling with people. Visitors travel to Gangnam to take advantage of its convenient transportation, fashion malls, movie theatres, and bookstores. Gangnam-gu Office operates Gangnam Tourist Information Center to offer tourist information to international and domestic visitors and hands-on activities related to tourism. Also, the center operates Medical Tour Center which introduces Gangnam-gu’s specializing hospitals and medical treatment as well as Hallyu Experience Hall.
