Ulleungdo Lighthouse (울릉도 등대 (태하등대))

Ulleungdo Lighthouse, sometimes called Taeha Lighthouse, was first lit in 1958 as a guiding light for boats coming to and from Ulleungdo Island. The lighthouse is a round, white concrete structure rising 7.6 meters high. With a new prisim light placed in 2003, the lighthouse can reach as far as 50 kilometers away. The hiking trail up to the lighthouse is a natural, narrow path among groves of trees. The gentle slope is surrounded by uniquely shaped cliffs, so it is a popular hiking course for tourists.
Ullidan Street (운리단길)

Ullidan Street connects Cheongju Early Printing Museum with Uncheon & Sinbong-dong Community Center. In less than a kilometer, charming cafes, restaurants, and shops have opened one after another, giving the street its name and elevating it to a popular hangout in Cheongju. This street is also the location of the store Nation's Best Banchan, which was run by Jeon Do-yeon’s character in "Crash Course in Romance (2023)." Don’t miss the Yennal Yetjip Goldongpum, an antique store and one of the oldest stores on Ullidan Street. True to its name, the store features old furniture, transistor radios, and other antique items full of nostalgia.
Ullimsanbang House (진도 운림산방)

On the foot of Cheomchalsan Mountain (485 m), bordering Ssangyesa Temple to the North, sits Ullimsanbang House. The building was once a home to the famous artist, Heo Yu during his last years, after his master Kim Jeong-hee (1789~1856), a noted scholar, passed away. Ullimsanbang House was named after the romantic scenery of the mountain peaks nearby the Cheomchalsan Maountain that appears hazily amidst the foggy mist. According to Heo Yu’s writings, ‘Mongyeonrok’ once had various flowers and trees blossomed, but it had long been abandoned beyond recognition until it was restored by his grandson, Heo Geon (1907~1987) in 1982. Surrounding the Cheomchalsan Mountain, Ullimsanbang House has a ㄷ-shaped tile-roofed house containing a workroom among numerous bedrooms. It houses a wooden cottage at the rear and the So-Chi (Heo Geon’s pen name) Memorial to the right. Many of Heo family’s artworks are displayed here. At the middle of the courtyard, a crape myrtle stands gracefully on a small six-meter island floating on a pond of lilies.
Ulsan Art Museum (울산시립미술관)

Opened in 2022, the Ulsan Art Museum is the first public art museum in the city. It promotes local culture and provides a space for sharing and experiencing experimental art. Reflecting Ulsan’s identity as an industrial capital in harmony with nature, the museum features immersive media art using the latest technologies such as VR, AR, and MR.
Ulsan Culture Art Center (울산문화예술회관)

Ulsan Culture Art Center is a representative performance hall of Ulsan, providing various types of performances. It has multiple performance halls and exhibition halls as well as restaurant, children playground and more.
Ulsan Culture Street (울산 문화의거리)
Seongnam-dong, Jung-gu, Ulsan
Ulsan Culture Street is a 1,000-meter-long art street with various galleries, small theaters, cafes, and restaurants. The original city center, which was the center of Ulsan's economic development, has been transformed into an Art Street and a hub for local artists by infusing culture into it, and it is a place where artists can freely create, exhibit and sell their works, just like Montmartre Hill in Paris. There are many art-related attractions, making it a must-see destination for tourists. Every weekend, there are various cultural events such as an art fair, busking performances, street exhibitions, and concerts, where artists and citizens can communicate directly.
Ulsan Grand Park (울산대공원)

Ulsan Grand Park, located in Namgu Ok-dong, is an ecotype city park with multiple attractions. The park offers huge swimming pool, a theme park, an outdoor concert area, multipurpose sports field and more. The outdoor theme park offers 4 different size ponds, a walking trail, playgrounds, outdoor concert hall, squares, multipurpose sports field and picnic areas. Also near the South gate, you can find a butterfly field, rose garden, and a small zoo.
Ulsan Ilsan Beach (일산해수욕장 (울산))

Located 1 kilometer north of Baneojin, Ilsan Beach is a fine-grained sandy beach that is 600 meters in length, 40-60 meters in width, and 26,000 ㎡ in total area. The water is relatively shallow at 1-2 meters in depth and holds an average temperature of around 21.2 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Every July, there is a beach festival. Ilsan Beach offers various amenities and is surrounded by accommodation facilities, allowing for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Nearby tourist attractions include Daewangam Park and Hwaam Boat Trail Mark Management Center, which has a lighthouse exhibition center and the highest lighthouse observatory in the area, giving visitors a wide-open view of Ulsanhang Harbor. Hyundai Heavy Industry is also located nearby.
Ulsan Jungang Traditional Market (울산 중앙시장)

Since its inception as Okgyo Market in 1922, Ulsan Jungang Traditional Market has remained in the same location for over 80 years, sharing in the community’s joys and sorrows. Dedicated entirely to customer satisfaction, it has continued to flourish even amid a global economic recession, with vendors specializing in wedding goods, as well as curtains, tableware, ritual items, clothing, and more. Known for having the longest arcade facility among markets nationwide, it also runs a night market from 7:00 PM to midnight every day except Monday. On offer are almost 30 types of food items prepared by former family restaurant chefs, culinary school instructors, and aspiring chefs.
Ulsan Keunaegi House (울산큰애기집)

Ulsan Keunaegi House is a cultural complex that exhibits and sells tourism-related products. The first floor houses a tourist information center and a souvenir shop, while the second floor serves as an exhibition space decorated with themed props. The third floor is a photo studio, where visitors can rent retro costumes and enjoy unique photo sessions in a variety of styles with couples, friends, or family.
Ulsan Keunaegi Night Market (울산큰애기청년야시장)

Ulsan Keunaegi Night Market is the first permanent night market in the Ulsan area, featuring a variety of food that appeals to young people, including simple meals, as well as specialty dishes from Jungang Traditional Market such as eel and old-fashioned fried chicken. There is also a street of traditional food stalls that evokes childhood nostalgia, providing the fun of searching for and enjoying favorite foods, making it a place where people of all ages, including families, friends, couples, and colleagues, can come together and enjoy.
Ulsan Keunaegi Shopping Center (울산큰애기상점가)

Ulsan Keunaegi Shopping Center is a shopping mall built by remodeling an old hospital building while retaining its original charm. The shopping complex has various shops and workshop spaces from the 1st to the 4th floor, making it a fun place to explore while engaging in cultural activities.
Ulsan Lotte Grand Wheel (울산 롯데 그랜드 휠)

The Ulsan Lotte Grand Wheel is located on the 7th floor of Lotte Young Plaza next to Ulsan Express Bus Terminal. The Ferris wheel offers a 20-minute ride with panoramic views of Ulsan, with options for a general cabin or a crystal cabin, making it a popular attraction among both tourists and shoppers.
Ulsan Museum (울산박물관)

Ulsan Museum is an archive of the past, present, and future of Ulsan City. The museum facilities include a history hall giving a general outline of the city from the prehistoric to the modern times, an industry hall showing Ulsan as the industrial capital of Korea, and a children’s experience hall for educational purposes. This eco-friendly museum equipped with advanced exhibition and education facilities is a model cultural space to help visitors understand Ulsan’s identity.
Ulsan Naewonam Hermitage (내원암(울산))

Naewonam Hermitage is located on Daeunsan Mountain in Ulsan. Daewonsa Temple, the once head temple of this hermitage, was located at the entrance to the complex, but only the remains exist today. The valley around the hermitage is famous for its clean and clear waters. The 500-year-old nettle tree within the hermitage grounds catches the eye for resembling an elephant. An annual music concert performed by Buddhist monks from Ulsan City takes place at Naewonam Hermitage.
Ulsan Night, Christmas Market (울산의 밤, 크리스마스 마켓)

Ulsan's Night, Christmas Market is an end of the year festival held in the heart of Ulsan, presenting a special evening with beautiful lights and decorations. Around 40 participating local vendors come together to showcase handcrafted products and delicious foods. Moreover, busking performances, Santa's present giveaway, balloon event, and more are prepared to create a family-friendly atmosphere and x_heighten the holiday mood.
