Ulleungdo Lighthouse, sometimes called Taeha Lighthouse, was first lit in 1958 as a guiding light for boats coming to and from Ulleungdo Island. The lighthouse is a round, white concrete structure rising 7.6 meters high. With a new prisim light placed in 2003, the lighthouse can reach as far as 50 kilometers away. The hiking trail up to the lighthouse is a natural, narrow path among groves of trees. The gentle slope is surrounded by uniquely shaped cliffs, so it is a popular hiking course for tourists.

Ullidan Street connects Cheongju Early Printing Museum with Uncheon & Sinbong-dong Community Center. In less than a kilometer, charming cafes, restaurants, and shops have opened one after another, giving the street its name and elevating it to a popular hangout in Cheongju. This street is also the location of the store Nation's Best Banchan, which was run by Jeon Do-yeon’s character in "Crash Course in Romance (2023)." Don’t miss the Yennal Yetjip Goldongpum, an antique store and one of the oldest stores on Ullidan Street. True to its name, the store features old furniture, transistor radios, and other antique items full of nostalgia.

On the foot of Cheomchalsan Mountain (485 m), bordering Ssangyesa Temple to the North, sits Ullimsanbang House. The building was once a home to the famous artist, Heo Yu during his last years, after his master Kim Jeong-hee (1789~1856), a noted scholar, passed away. Ullimsanbang House was named after the romantic scenery of the mountain peaks nearby the Cheomchalsan Maountain that appears hazily amidst the foggy mist. According to Heo Yu’s writings, ‘Mongyeonrok’ once had various flowers and trees blossomed, but it had long been abandoned beyond recognition until it was restored by his grandson, Heo Geon (1907~1987) in 1982. Surrounding the Cheomchalsan Mountain, Ullimsanbang House has a ㄷ-shaped tile-roofed house containing a workroom among numerous bedrooms. It houses a wooden cottage at the rear and the So-Chi (Heo Geon’s pen name) Memorial to the right. Many of Heo family’s artworks are displayed here. At the middle of the courtyard, a crape myrtle stands gracefully on a small six-meter island floating on a pond of lilies.

Located 1 kilometer north of Baneojin, Ilsan Beach is a fine-grained sandy beach that is 600 meters in length, 40-60 meters in width, and 26,000 ㎡ in total area. The water is relatively shallow at 1-2 meters in depth and holds an average temperature of around 21.2 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Every July, there is a beach festival. Ilsan Beach offers various amenities and is surrounded by accommodation facilities, allowing for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Nearby tourist attractions include Daewangam Park and Hwaam Boat Trail Mark Management Center, which has a lighthouse exhibition center and the highest lighthouse observatory in the area, giving visitors a wide-open view of Ulsanhang Harbor. Hyundai Heavy Industry is also located nearby.

Since its inception as Okgyo Market in 1922, Ulsan Jungang Traditional Market has remained in the same location for over 80 years, sharing in the community’s joys and sorrows. Dedicated entirely to customer satisfaction, it has continued to flourish even amid a global economic recession, with vendors specializing in wedding goods, as well as curtains, tableware, ritual items, clothing, and more. Known for having the longest arcade facility among markets nationwide, it also runs a night market from 7:00 PM to midnight every day except Monday.
