Gosapo Beach (고사포해수욕장)

Gosapo Beach commands a magnificent scenic view, thanks to the 2-kilometer stretch of fine sand and pine forest along the beach. The beach is considered one of the cleanest among the beaches in the area. Every two weeks, the tides fall to reveal a path from Gosapo Beach to Haseom Island.
Goseokjeong Flower Field (고석정 꽃밭)
10-2 Jangheung-ri, Dongsong-eup, Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do
It is a vibrant flower field where you can encounter various flowers depending on the season. Amidst the endless bloom, take photos and create memories like the members of "Hangout with Yoo" or joyfully play around, shouting "Catch me if you can!" like the members from "Running Man."
Goseokjeong National Tourist Area (고석정국민관광지)
1825, Taebong-ro, Cheorwon-gun, Gangwon-do
Goseokjeong Pavilion is the most scenic spot among the eight scenic views of Cheorwon. The crystal clear waters of the Hantangang River wind around Goseokbawi Rock, a peculiarly shaped rock about 10 meters tall that stands dominantly in the middle of the river. Goseokjeong Pavilion is a two-story tower-style pavilion that has an area of about 33 square meters, built halfway up the Hantangang River during the reign of King Jinpyeong (r. AD 579-632) of the Silla Kingdom. Today, Goseokjeong refers to the entire area around Goseokjeong Pavilion and the valley surrounding Goseok Rock. Designated as a Monument of Gangwon-do, the pavilion is known to have been one of the most favored places by King Jinpyeong of the Silla Kingdom, and King Chungsuk of the Goryeo dynasty. The area became all the more famous as the arena of Im Kkeok-jeong (?-1562), who was a legendary leader of a peasant rebellion in the early Joseon dynasty. The pavilion was destroyed during the Korean War and restored in 1971 by community leaders in Cheorwon. Unfortunately, it was damaged once again by flood in 1996 and reconstructed the year after. There is a natural stone chamber inside Goseokbawi Rock that Im Kkeok-jeong used as a hiding place. On the opposite side, there are remains of a stone castle. Jiktang Waterfall is located about 2 kilometers up from this site, while Sundam Valley is situated about 2 kilometers in downstream. Goseokjeong is a year-round tourist attraction with an extensive grass square and recreational facilities. It is also the starting point for DMZ tours as the Iron Triangle Battlefield Conservation Office is located here and in winter, visitors can enjoy migratory bird tours.
Goseong Dinosaur Museum (고성공룡박물관)

Goseong Dinosaur Museum is located in the Sangjogam Park, which is renowned as the world's largest dinosaur footprint fossil site. Sangjogam is where the first dinosaur footprints were discovered in South Korea. The museum features five exhibition halls and a theater. Visitors can see genuine egg fossils of Oviraptor and Protoceratops, as well as dinosaur models. The museum is connected to the Sangjogam Beach, where dinosaur footprints are preserved.
Goseong DMZ Museum (고성 DMZ 박물관)

The DMZ Museum was founded in honor of people's hope for unification of South Korea and North Korea. It is located at the northernmost area along the east coast near the civilization control line.The museum features exhibition halls arranged in a number of different themes that highlight the historical significance and the meaning of the DMZ, from the aftermath of war to its pristine ecosystem.
Goseong Fifth-day Market (고성5일시장 (4, 9일))

Goseong Fifth-day Market is located in Goseong-ri near Seongsanilchulbong Peak. The market started in its current location in 1984, serving residents in the local areas, creating a small rustic vibe unlike what is found at larger urban markets. Markets are held on the 4th and 9th of every month, and there is everything from fish caught in Seongsan to meat, vegetables, clothing, and miscellaneous goods.
Goseong Hwaamsa Temple (화암사(고성))

Hwaamsa Temple was built during the Silla period, and then repaired many times throughout history, with the temple even moving locations to where it is now in 1864. The current structures were built in 1991 for the World Jamboree. The temple name also changed throughout history, with the current name being given in 1912. Goseong Unification Observatory (고성 통일전망타워)

The Goseong Unification Observatory stands as the northernmost observatory in South Korea. It provides panoramic views of the DMZ, the East Sea, and North Korea's Geumgangsan Mountain. Established as a symbol of hope for the reunification of the Korean Peninsula, it features an exhibition hall dedicated to educating visitors about the Korean War (1950-1953). Due to its location near the DMZ, visitors must bring an ID, such as a passport or foreigner resident card, for entry.
Goseong Wanggok Village (고성왕곡마을)

Goseong Wanggok Village is a traditional village located about 1.5 kilometers away from the East Sea. Its secluded location nestled among five hills has allowed the village to retain its appearance and tradition for a long time. Because of its geographic features, the village was also protected from disasters like wars and mountain wildfires, allowing the area to preserve its form. Wanggok Village’s origins are said to date back to the 14th century, when it was first settled as a clan village and survived for over nearly 600 years. The entire village has preserved its original appearance and is recognized for its historical and academic value. Here, visitors can observe traditional northern-style houses, clusters of thatched houses, and a gateless yard. Some traditional hanok buildings offer accommodations as well, accepting visitors to stay overnight through online reservations.
Goso-dong Mural Village (고소동 천사벽화마을)

Goso-dong Mural Village, located on a hill with a panoramic view of the sea, is filled with various murals on walls and pavements depicting Yeosu’s history, culture, and daily life. The village is 1,004 meters long, earning the name "Cheonsa (Angel) Mural Village" because "1,004" sounds like "angel" in Korean. The area features cafés, photo spots, a live performance zone, Moonlight Gallery, and the Yi Sun-Sin Tactical Kite Museum. At Opodae Park, there is an observation deck offering a stunning view of the Yeosu cityscape.
Gosong Galbijjim Main Branch (거송갈비찜 본점)

Geosong Galbijjim Main Branch is a Korean restaurant specializing in braised ribs that first opened in 2014 in Yakjeon Alley along Dongseong-ro in Daegu. For over a decade, it has been a favorite among Daegu locals. Its signature sauce is crafted with traditional medicinal herbs carefully sourced from Yakjeon Alley, giving the dish a clean and refined depth of flavor. The restaurant’s main offerings include braised pork ribs and braised beef ribs, available in six flavor options, including soy sauce, spicy, and mala. The spice level can be adjusted to suit individual tastes. In addition to its galbijjim, the restaurant also serves side dishes such as galbi dumplings, mulnaengmyeon (cold buckwheat noodles), and bibimnaengmyeon (spicy bukwheat noodles).
Gossaumnori Theme Park (고싸움놀이테마파크)

Gossaumnori Theme Park was built over five years to preserve and develop the traditions of Gossaum, a local type of tug-of-war game. The park comprises a training center, video experience hall, folk game experience center, and outdoor performing hall.

Gossigul Cave was designated as a Natural Monument on June 4, 1969, getting protection from the government for its educational and natural values. In 1974, the cave was opened to the public. The cave has various levels with underground water flowing on the bottom level. The cave is mostly made of limestone with various microorganisms inhabiting within.
Gosudonggul Cave (단양 고수동굴)

Gosudonggul Cave, a natural limestone marvel, is recognized as a Natural Monument of Korea. Spanning nearly 1,700 meters in length, this ancient cave has been shaped over 500 million years. Inside, visitors can marvel at an array of spectacular formations including stalactites, stalagmites, underground lakes, and cave pearls. The cave also houses unique rock formations such as Sajabawi Rock, Dodamsambongbawi Rock, a statue resembling the Virgin Mary, and the romantically named Thousand-year Love Rock. The cave is conveniently located just one kilometer from the Danyang Intercity Bus Terminal.
Gotaekhanok (고택 한옥에서)

In A Hanok is a grand old house in Samjinae Village, Changpyeong, Jeollanam-do - a member of the international Slow City movement. The house comprises a sarangchae (men’s house), an anchae (women’s house), outbuildings and a spacious yard and garden. Local tourist destinations such as Soswaewon Garden, Songgangjeong Pavilion, and Damyang’s bamboo forest and redwood road are all within 30 minutes, of the house. Visitors can rest here while drinking in the atmosphere of the old Korean countryside.
Gouhan Farm Pension (고유한관광농원펜션)

Located in Duwon-myeon, Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do, Gouhan Farm Pension is an activity-type accommodation housed inside a citron farm. The unique round-shaped building nestled in a citron forest looks like something straight out of a children's book. There are five guest rooms, each with its own bathroom and kitchen. Here, the dome house is the most distinctive accommodation. Guests may enjoy a barbecue in the front yard, and are welcome to take a tour of the farm, make citron tea and pomegranate tea, or make citron pizza in the Citron Experience Exhibition Hall. A beach is located within a five-minute walk of the pension.
