Yeouido Hangang Park (여의도한강공원)

Situated in Yeouido, the heart of politics, media, banking and finance, Yeouido Hangang Park is easily accessible via public transportation. The park hosts many exciting events, from the Yeouido Cherry Blossom Festival in spring to the International Fireworks Festival in fall, as well as concerts and marathons throughout the year. Well-preserved natural areas such as Bamseom Island and Yeouido Saetgang Tributary provide visitors with an opportunity to learn about nature and ecology. In addition, thanks to the Hangang Renaissance Project, the park is full of new attractions: the Water Light Square, waterside fountains, a riverside stage, a yacht marina, and more.The Yeouido Hangang Park also served as a backdrop for filming episode 12 of the drama "Divorce Attorney Shin (2023)," where the characters Seong Han and Jeong Guk discuss custody. It is a popular spot in Seoul that is enjoyed by tourists and residents alike and known for its beautiful and eco-friendly natural landscapes.
Yeouido Park (여의도공원)

Yeouido Park is a large recreational area located on Yeouido Island in the central part of Seoul. It was once originally covered with black asphalt, and people frequented the place for bicycling and roller-skating. The construction began in 1997 and opened officially in February 1999. It is now the place where many people in the city come to rest and enjoy strolling around, playing sports, and cultural events.
Yeoyeo Sikdang (여여식당)

If you want to get the basics of jaecheop (Freshwater Marsh Clam) dishes in the Hadong-eup center area, head to Yeoyeo Sikdang. This restaurant serves a rich bowl of jaecheop-guk with a good selection of side dishes and a bowl of steamed rice.
Yesan Hwaamsa Temple (화암사 (예산)
21-29, Yonggung 1-gil, Yesan-gun, Chungcheongnam-do
Hwaamsa Temple is located near Joseon dynasty's scholar and writer Kim Jeong-hui's, also referred to his pen name Chusa, house. The temple has ties with the ancient writer, as the temple is known to have been repaired and renovated by Kim Jeong-hui's great grandfather. There are no records that explains the foundation of Hwaamsa Temple, and only a timeline of its reconstruction can be found in "Records of Hwaamsa Temple Restoration" plaque, which is displayed in Sudeoksa Temple Museum. The timeline was recorded by Kim Myeong-hee in 1848, and written by Kim Seong-hee, and carved by Cho Seok-shin. The name "Hwaamsa" was given by King Yeongjo (r. 1724-1776).

Yeson Voice Center (예송이비인후과 음성센터)

Yeson Voice Center is the only center of its kind in Korea that implements various high-tech treatment methods. Yetteo Folk Museum (옛터민속박물관)

The Yetteo Folk Museum showcases traditional folk artifacts that reflect the daily life of the Daejeon region. Inside the exhibition hall, visitors can view items such as knives, tray tables, water droppers, cups, and oil lamps. The outdoor exhibition area features stone mortars, troughs, and grinding stones. The museum also includes a traditional jar exhibition hall, a Korean restaurant, and a traditional teahouse. Visitors can engage in hands-on experiences like natural dyeing, hanji paper crafts, and knot-making, or relax and enjoy a campfire.

Yi Chungmugong's Byeokpajin Battle Monument (이충무공 벽파진 전첩비)

Yi Chungmugong's Byeokpajin Battle Monument, located at Byeokpajeong was built to commemorate the victory of Admiral Yi Sun-sin and honor the souls of martyrs who sacrificed their lives in the battle of Myeongnyang. The epitaph of the monument, penned by Lee Eunsang, features the calligraphy by Son Jae Hyeong. Although just a small fishing port now, Byeokpajin was a crucial port connecting Jindo and Haenam before the Jindo Bridge was built in 1984. It still holds a great historical significance.
Yi Sunsin Square (이순신광장)

Yi Sunsin Square is located in Jungang-dong, Yeosu-si and contains the history and achievements of General Yi Sunsin. The square is the starting point for the history culture tourism belt and the surrounding artifacts and in May hosts the Turtle Ship Festival. The main attraction in the plaza is the life-size turtle ship which visitors can not only view from the outside but also the inside. There are also various performances on Saturdays in the plaza.
